Someone in here said they met Floyd a while back and said he was as nice as can be.
That was me. . . I met him the January before the DLH fight in the shops at Caesar's. Stopped shopping to take a picture with a buddy and myself, and a few others that noticed who it was as well. Even seemed to be in a rush prior, and still was nice about it to everyone, and shot the shit for a minute before resuming.
I've also heard about what walktheline mentioned as well, that he's regularly involved with a lot of LV charities, and uses his name to get a lot of local support for them. I think a lot of people just mistake Floyd being "WWE" and just doing his best to sell a fight.

I like both of them . Manny is one of my favorites . Floyd I appreciate more than like. I think he avoided a lot of guys though. I think him signing to fight JMM when he could have waited til tomorrow and signed to fight Manny is his way of avoiding him for a while
I think your right that he didn't want to sign to fight pacquiao right away and thats why he signed the JMM fight, but can you really blame him. If I was going to fight manny and hadn't been in the gym regularly for a while I would want a fight to get tuned up too.

This fight will never happen. Floyd will not fight guys like Pacman and Paul Williams. Not a hope..The guy will win a few more fights make nig money and then retire again. A great fighter but I question his heart and stomach for a real challenge..Now If Paul Williams could get down to 143 thats a fight with pacman where I can't see pacman winning..

I think Mayweather would be a clear favorite maybe -180 or -200. When Manny fought Marquez and Morales the jab and the counter punching gave Manny big problems. Manny is the fastest fighter Mayweather has faced but the jab to the body will take away his punching power. The jab to the head will blind Manny, and the right hands over the top of Manny's left hand will leave him a bloody mess after 12 rounds. Mosley or Cotto would have a better chance of taking Mayweather into deep waters.
