The
Saskatchewan Roughriders have taken the Darian Durant watch on the
road. They conducted their walkthrough for Saturday's game at the
University of Guelph's Alumni Stadium. Among the interested spectators
was Durant, the team's No. 1 quarterback who is nursing a sprained right
foot. Durant watched the walkthrough from the bench with his right foot
encased in a protective boot.
Head coach Corey Chamblin didn't
rule out Durant playing in tonight's game despite the fact that the
veteran quarterback practised sparingly since the Roughriders beat the
visiting Tiger-Cats 37-0 on Sunday.
Chamblin said he wanted to
see how Durant looked after the pre-game workout before making his final
decision on whether Durant would start. If not, backup Drew Willy would
get his first start of the 2013 CFL season. - Leader Post
