Are you just riding the Bombers every week because of the results, or is there something more to your thoughts?
Hey there, old sport. Thanks for stopping by. It's the first play on the Bombers I've posted this season, I have won off board with them three times though but not blindly betting them no.. I have reasoning for being involved in the game other than it is my team and that they are a great team. For starters I like them coming off their bye week, I like the four roster changes they have made for this game, I like their winning streak, I like that BC's winning streak was just snapped. I like the Bombers defensive line vs the Lions offensive line. I believe Reilly will be picked multiple times by the Bombers ball hawking secondary. The Bombers kicker really struggled last outing, the kid has had two weeks to work on redeeming himself and I believe he does. The Bombers defence all week has been fielding questions about the Lions talented receiving core and from the responses I heard, it seems like they are sick of hearing about them. Bombers have a big coaching advantage here too. I do expect a really good and tight game here but I think the rested, superior team put their stamp on first place by the end of the night. There is more but it gives you an idea of my thoughts. Hopefully for me my assumptions and assessments are correct. Cheers!

Thanks for the thoughts. You go much further in details, so I do appreciate it.
I have this game as one half to one team and the other half to the other. I will wait for the 2nd Half and assess my options.
I was on a huge ATS run but the favorites have since taken over.

Not a bad idea waiting until half. I have zero doubts you'll get back onto whatever train you were rolling on. I was blazing in all football and have taken my lumps the last handful of plays in ncaaf and nfl so hoping to get that righted asap.

This Winnipeg team is much like the Calgary team of yesteryear. The team plays so elite. I didnt need your analysis to get me off the dog in this game, they have been stopping teams from scoring on them for a long time now. The talent on the field is still there. What surprises me is these lines. That stumped me. Maybe its because as you mentioned this will be the only favorite so they give this gift.
I like Montreal but I am just now looking into the play and who is playing. With all the bad QB play its difficult to get settled.
best wishes

We got everything we expected in BC and then some. The Bombers defensive line terrorized the BC line all night sacking Reilly 6 times and picking him off, and having him on the run constantly. Our young new kicker did redeem himself as expected coming his 0-3 performance he went 3-3 collecting 12 total points on the night. All four returning players had impacts on the game especially the stove in the middle of that defensive line. The team look rested and ready coming off their bye week and the Under was never in doubt along with the side.
Looking at the Hamilton game...Three key offensive guys returning for the Cats..Jeremiah Masoli QB, Brandon Banks WR, Bralon Addison WR, all will play today, Addison makes his season debut. This game boils down to one thing. Montreals great running game against Hamiltons powerful defensive front. Last time out this was no contest as Stanback was held to 40 yards on 12 carries well below his average of 6.7 yards per attempt. The obvious choice here is the Tiger Cats but it's so obvious it rattles me a bit to be honest. Also returning QB's can often take some time in the game to shake off a bit of rust. Will that present an opportunity for the desperate Als? If the Als can grab the lead then maybe they can rely on that running game more this time and hopefully for them be more successful with it this time. Question marks.
Will wait until halftime to make a play on this game if one presents itself. Want to see how it unfolds early.

Forgot to mention, Friday the Cats released WR's Devier Posey and Marcus Tucker. Posey was the teams Grey Cup MVP and an integral part of that locker room. It's a business, but still a business made up of human beings with emotions. It's hard to say if Posey being shipped out will have any affect on the teams mojo in the short term, as in even just the way they come out for the game. He was a leader on that team and a steadying influence. Just another question mark.

@Polar_Bear
Your assessment on the Peg was right on. Defensive line over powered BC off. line. 5 sacks and overall Wpg held Rielly to 177 yards passing.
Keep up the good work and see you in the NHL forum soon.
