Last nights games were a right kick in the pants. I lost about 4 units on the BC game and as bad as that is at least it wasn't a frustrating loss and a game blown by an idiot kicker. They're just not nearly as good as I thought.
The ESKSIES game on the other hand absolutely sucked. There was just about a penalty on every play of the SH. And even though the TiCats finally completed the implosion it was too late for me to hit my bets...BARELY.
EDM was down 24-20 and go to kick a fg but their idiot kicker Grant Shaw or as he's now known around town here Grunt Shaw-SHANK is wide left on a very makable 37 yarder so it's 24-21. Then a couple minutes later he gets a chance to redeem himself with another 38 yard kick to make it 24-22.
But the TiCats continued to turn it over or go 2 and out so the ESKS do make a couple fg's late to win 28-24. However the SHANKED 37 and 37 yarders Shaw missed cost me about 2 units on the EDM -5 by a point and the OVER 53.5 by 2 points and ultimately a 8 unit swing which is almost exactly what I dropped last night.
So I gotta say not even two weeks into the season I'm just about ready to pull chute on this bush league and it's idiot coaches and brutal players. But I was reading up on this game yesterday and I think the ARGOS are live home dogs. And I also think we see some points at the dome. So I'm taking another shot at it and just hope if I do lose it's not because of poor decisions or a shitty player.
