Alright CFL Sunday.
Well first things first. I just picked up a Pork Sirloin Roast with just the right amount of fat. I will also be making my patented home made garlic mashed potatoes and of course cream corn. Does life get any better! I think not. lol.
This is the CFL playoffs and anything can happen. When I looked at this game HAM stacks up well against EDM but as we all know HAM is Banged Up for this game. Who is Collaros going to throw the ball to? Chad Owens... nope. Andy Fantuz... nope. Luke Tasker... nope. They are all out for this game. So that leaves CJ Gable to carry the load. Does Kent Austin give Gable the ball all game long? Can he carry HAM all by himself. He is going to have to. HAM has the edge in the coaching department and I would not be surprised if Austin tries to turn this into a ground game and slow everything down. If HAM was healthy I would have given them a good shot at winning this game at home but not this game. I have to back last years Grey Cup Champions with a more healthy team, even coming from the West and playing on the road.
I played EDM -2.5 earlier in the week. I see -3 right now.
Now lets talk about that total of 57.
I think this line is a bit high and yes if HAM was healthy a lot of points would probably be in order this afternoon. Again if Austin turns to the run game, this game has a heck of a shot at going under 57. It is a playoff game and even if EDM gets out to a big lead they might slow things down and let HAM lick there wounds and maintain some respect.
EDM played as a road team, as a fav, with a total of 54.5 or higher, the O/U is 1-11-0. EDM played as a road team vs East Division, O/U is 2-8-0. 8-1-1 ATS.
HAM played as a home underdog, with a total of 54.5 or higher, the O/U is 4-21-1. HAM played as a home team vs West Division, O/U is 3-12-0.
So we have good evidence this game might go under and with HAM banged up, I have to go with the under 57 points.

The second game scares me a little bit. Will O'Shea dip into his bag of trick plays and cost his team the win and cover? I say yes but more research is needed.
