Ricky Ray is cleared to start for the Argos in Thursday's game against the Alouettes. I'm a little surprised at the line here. I did make Toronto a 3 point favorite. I don't think Jim Popp is going to make a difference. Montreal's offence is without a running game as whitaker will be out at least for the next 3 weeks. Ricky Ray completing over 75% of his passes this season . Curtis Steele filled in nicely for Kackert in the Argos last game against the Lions. FINAL SCORE TOR 31 MON 21
CALGARY -3 ( 2 units )
It was rumored early this week that Drew Tate was going to be to play in this game but as of today kevin Glen has been named the starter against the RoughRiders. Both teams will be 5-1 after this week.

OMG. ok 44Dimes. You must have a personal dislike for SAS. You have pegged them wrong all year. You continue to lose bets on their games and u give no valid reason as to why to take CAL. None! No1 off, def and special teams getting three point is either take the dog or pass.
People, do not follow 44Dimes on any game involving SAS.
Having said that I love the play on TOR.

I'm only 1-2 ats in games involving Saskatchewan this year, and actually I did take the RoughRiders against Calgary in WEEK 2 !!

ummmm SAS is 6.0 on the side. You win must have been a total,ok. So how about ALL the side plays u have missed. What is the valid reason on taking Cal this week? What is the valid reason to play against a 6-0 ats team with the top off def and special teams. I will make u a bet and everyone else who follows u that IF SAS covers this week U will bet against the next game they play. You have no clue on SAS this year. You are only slighty better on your HAM takes. Now I LOVE your TOR play this week.

You CAN cap 44Dimes. You give great write-ups. People follow your plays. Thank you for posting. Now having said that, no write-up on why u are taking Cal has a stink to it. I am calling u out on some personal reason why you cant get behind the steam roller that SAS has been this year and has not yet been slowed down let alone stopped. Maybe u have some SAS off the BYE or Cal off the bye numbers. I dont know

BTW- I have been on the right side of SSK EVERY game this year but I predicted that CAL would beat them this coming week back around week #4.
CAL has stolen a few close games against them in Mosaic over the last few years. These two teams are very evenly matched with solid "D" and great playmakers on both sides incl. depth at Q" where CAL has the edge with the best depth in the league and that is after you minus out the conversion to WR of Sinopoli.
However, the # 1 reason is that back in Week # 2 CAL actually looked like they were going to prevail with a 21-14 1/2 time lead which no one has done to SSK yet this year. The reason SSK won was the sledgehammer running of Sheets on virtually every 1st and 2nd down softening up the CAL secondary for a little mix of Dressler's speed causing mismatches when they went to the air. The true brilliance of that strategy was that they kept CAL's "O" off the field for 22 min out of 30 in the 2nd H and shut 'em out in that half.
Do you really think that SSK is going to do that again when you give a coach of Hufnagel's pedigree ( 59-31 coming into this season after 5 ) 2 weeks to prepare with some slack Cdn. runner- who hates to run NORTH/SOUTH himself- named Cornish in his backfield?
Glenn will be fine esp. if he starts and right now he has been named as starter.
My humble .02

I will give you a reason, Joe.

That's correct I'm 0-2 betting Sask totals and one of the losses was down right ugly. It was the 32-20 game in Week 5 in which the score was 32-17 after 3 quarters. I had over 56 !!! Do you recall Burris getting stuffed twice on first and Goal. I might of gotten a push on that game if he got in and they go for 2.

I admit It's difficult to give a negative write up on a team that's been practically flawless. Saskatchewan has done nothing wrong this season. They don't turn the ball over , they have the best average starting field position in the league , control time of possession and special teams has been awesome. Not to mention Kory Sheets is on his way to a record breaking year. However this is the same team as last year. They made no major off season moves except for Getzlaf who missed half the season in 2012. They won't run the table in 2013 and they've exceeded all expectations this season , so my thinking form a betting perspective is that there is no room for improvement. Regression and the turn over battle will eventually catch up via the law of averages. Calgary is good football team. Let's give them this game.

He is a much better OC...as a HC he didn't have enough discipline flowing thru the ranks and he would hemorrhage or almost suffer a brain aneurism when a red flag situ arose.
Before joining Hamilton, Cortez spent two seasons in the NFL as Quarterbacks Coach with the Buffalo Bills. Prior to his tenure with the Bills, Cortez spent 18 seasons with four teams in the CFL and four years as Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach at the University of California-Berkley.

SSK's OC is George Cortez who was HAM'S HC LY.

You are prolly like me where it takes 6 weeks to find your way in capping this crazy game. I started 4-10-2 ATS/totals and lost several by 1/2 a pt. but now I'm on a 12-5-1 ATS and totals run ( was 12-3-1 until BC effed me good the other nite).
I'm seeing SSK and CAL a cut above the rest of the league right now and I think TOR will further cement their case for 3rd in power rankings after this week with a hard fought but close game in Montreal. I know many have TOR winning by 10 but I think this will be a real close game and it would not surprise me to see Collaros take some snaps or even be called in to bail out Ray if he struggles.
Ricky Ray does not play well and MTL will have new life just based on the change alone-not because of Popp- and in spite of losing a key WR and Whitaker for at least one game
BC has some real problems to address on "O". Lulay has lost confidence in spreading the ball around to his WR corps and is way too dependent on using Harris out of the backfield, Harris on the run and Lulay on the run. After a while that gets predictable. Their red zone offensive woes continue and Benevides should be lining up Paris Jackson and Arceneaux on the field at the same time as the rest are mere rooks or sophs. I'm sure Jackson can play either side and would relish the role.

Great discussion guys. We won't always be on the same side and at the end of the day we're responsible for our own wagers , but the common goal remains the same !! To make money.
Best of luck to all CFL Cappers

Liking T.O too. Both teams have injuries but TOR has played a game with theirs and their D is starting to gel.
And MON is getting some love because of the coaching change which many cappers like to jump on. But Poop is not a great coach and now A.C will be without Richardson AND Whitaker.....thats gonna be tough.
BOL as always champ
