MTL@CGY In Game

Let the "MADNESS" begin, in a half hour, lol.

Oh this game will be chalked full of "MADNESS" I tellz Ya.

What is CGY up to tonight?  Starting the 3rd stringer instead of the 2nd stringer.

I have too imagine we will see both QB"s tonight.  Since this is the CFL we might see both QB's multiple times through out this game.  Pull one leash then pull the other.

It has been my experience, back up QB's start good then everything starts too fall apart fast.  They think they are ready BUT they are not.  They can't see the field, droped snaps, interceptions, pick 6's, over and under throws, then the next guy comes in and has a little success BUT oh no, another interception.  Then incomes the other guy and oh no, a sack for a lose of 40 yards taking them out of FG range.  

Talk about "MADNESS", lol.

Is this a rebuilding year for CGY?

MTL is not tired!  Only 2nd game this season.  Both on the road but they already did this last week.  Repetition is good.

I have heard nothing but good things coming out of MTL for the last few weeks.  They showed up last week and I see no reason why they don't come out tonight and fustrate the heck out of CGY.  

I think it was back in 2002 when CGY started 0-3 to start a season.  

Ordinarly this would be a sweet spot for the home team but again I have seen too many back up QB's get a ROYAL welcome to the CFL!!

I believe tonight's starter is a pocket passer.  He might just be running for his life tonight.

Clearly the books need CGY tonight!  That's the only thing that concerns me.

BBQ tonight.  It's to hot to turn on the oven tonight.  It's Friday so I don't have to goto bed early tonight either.

can either of you recall a time where the QB play, league wide was this bad? One thing the C has always had is a bunch of qbs that can put up numbers, I see a real lack of that this year.

We got 10 points after 1st so Over could be a possibility.

Hi Eddy, I some how feel the opposite.  I think all teams have a seasoned QB and also experienced lines.  CGY lost good players.  Most of them laned in TOR.  Besides CGY as a whole, I believe the CFL is at a peek with regards to long time players with good experience.  

When it comes to this season, these games are basically pre-season.

Points are flowing which is good.  Us Calgary backer are hanging our heads....  we need a good drive here.

During a pandemic no less.  I still can't believe all those players, from those States That Are United, made it up here to play in the first place.

We are at that critical point in the game where the books might actually give MTL significant points too start the 2nd half.

Score 14-3 for MTL.

Stamps are really struggling out there.

MTL turn over.  Now the books are back too a half point for the 2nd half.

Over should hit tonight.

These are some low totals this week.  Perhaps next week would be a good time to maybe take the overs.

Maier starting to look a little better now.  Points are coming too...  

CGY Defense will tire out in the 2nd half after that injury. 

I will lay say... -1.5 or less with MTL too start the 2nd half.

At the half, my book shows MTL -4.5 points for the full game.  That means MTL has too win by 6.5 points.  Thats more than I would like!

Still, I will take it.

Mine is MTL -2.5. Should I hammer it?

We should never extend ourselves but Ya I hammered MTL -2.5 too start the 2nd half.

CGY defense depleted!!  All MTL has to do is extend a few drives and wear out CGY defense.

Now having said that, lol, this is the CFL. lol.
