this is the same defense for 3 straight weeks bro. i agree the blame goes literally ALL around. but look at what ricky ray did to them week 1 in skatch.... and they played 3 close games within 4 points of montreal last year including beating them once and they got thrashed last week at home. they have holes everywhere. but this d is awful

You have valid points. The blame does go ALL around, from players, to coaches, to the play calling, special teams all the way to the referees (joking). The second down passes to wes cates in the flats were useless -- not only were a majority of them incomplete, they weren't even past the yard sticks. Special Teams tackles were hard to come by.
TSN announcers, who are usually worth muting between games had a strange stat about the Roughriders. I think they said the Rider's are something like 4-8 in their last 12 regular season games going back to last year. Now with the new coach, less "star" players and a slow moving defense I cannot believe I didn't see this coming. Both teams looked dysfunctional through 2 weeks but the Rider's look absolutely FUCKED out there.
