Almost halfway through the season. Mr Zach showed us his form from last season in a 5 TD thrashing of the Riders. The Als finally showed up in a big way and took out the Grey Cup Finalist but now Ottawa has realised they need to make a tough decision and are starting Harris this weekend. The Riders are a tough team to take, Durant was an intercept machine last weekend, but IMHO the Eskimos don't deserve -13.5 even after their big road win vs the Argonauts. BC didn't show up last week at all against Mitchell and the Stamps and were really brought back down to earth. This season for me has been a very good season as all teams (apart from Riders) have performed consistent for the most part of the season. Dogs are covering at a high rate still but thats the CFL over the past seasons.
Lean the Lions to bounce back tomorrow but hoping to get +3 before making a play.

Aussie Down Under....well done. I am enjoying another stellar season and have been hammering the under (see my thread on that) though last week hit 3-1 on the OVER.
CAL has been an UNREAL ROAD DOG going 14-3 and this week I see good value on HAM playing out there getitng close to 6. HAM has played well historically against CAL and in CAL and I see a slight letdown with the Stamps this week....esp. after shellacking what might have been the best D in their own house!
I was on WPG all 3 wins before the bye- ALL AS DOGS,TOO. I believe they are the real deal in ost aspects of the game and always felt Nicolls would morph into a deceny QB1 in this league.
So suffice to say I like them coming off a bye and again getting 4 pts. or I may buy it to 4 if req'd..
Also like BC getting points tonite in a bounceback though OTT is a better team with Harris at the helm.
Enjoy the Tilts

No play for me in this game, I am too torn between both teams. If Burris was starting for Redblacks, i would take the Lions for sure. But Harris adds another dimension to the Redblacks offense and I just cannot fade him or the Redblacks at home. Redblacks are also coming off 4 straight ATS losses so that may balance out tonight..

Thanks buddy, I really like the Cats this weekend as well, the line is now down to +4 in that game. The under generally in the CFL has hit at a very high rate and thats the same with taking the dogs in this league. It really is a crazy league. GL this season mate

These 2 teams have already met this season, Eskimos won 39-36 and the line for that game was -10. The Riders turned the ball over some severe last game vs the Cats whilst the Eskimos won significantly in Toronto. The Eskimos play one of their arch rivals next week, the Stampeders. Road dogs are 17-2 ATS against a divisional rival after 5 or more turnovers the previous week. If the Riders want to get anything at all, this is the game they need to do it as they face the Bombers in week 11 and 12 (double header) and then the Eskimos again in week 13 followed by the Cats Week 14. Its not going to get any easier for them but they still have a decent coaching staff. The Stampeders and the Ti-Cats were both around -10 vs the Riders recently and both covered, I don't put the Eskimos in the same category as the Stampeders and Ti-Cats and their QB's. These 2 teams are 2nd and 3rd last for defense. The Riders may find it a little easier to find their men on offense compared to the Cats and the Stampeders who are ranked 1st and 3rd on defense in regards to allowing total yards..

Like the Sask pick. Still kicking myself I didnt listen to u last night haha but thats how it is sometimes. I thought I had it figured out but was a completely different game 2h.
Sask getting too much pts, Edm is mediocre this year and defense has a lot of holes.
Winnipeg is due for s letdown, and MTL is a tough D. However Wpg is the hot team playing complete right now. See a close game here , Wpg slight edge. Could see their Wr injuries catching up to them in this one.

Not too worried about the Defensive matchup for Bombers, its their offense. That O line coming off a very impressive game BUT can they keep this up without dress and smith?

Will be interesting to see what the Roughriders are next week at home the the Bombers. Bombers have turned their season around significantly and are getting the job on both sides of the game.
Hamilton Tiger Cats @ Calgary Stampeders: Tiger Cats +4
Mentioned in previous weeks, I couldn't wait for Collaros to come back because I think he is the best QB in this league. The Cats need a win against a great team. They had it easy last week after the Riders threw 1000 interceptions and gave up in that game. The Stampeders are coming off a massive divisional rival road dog win. They ripped apart the Lions D and now face the leagues toughest D. The Lions defense is ranked 2nd in the league and the Stamps pull them apart but I think its going to be different going against the Cats D. Non Divisional home favs of -4.5 or less coming off a road dog win are 8-15 S/U and 4-19 ATS. I will take the points in this game because its more than a FG difference and 4 of the last 5 have been decided by 4 or less points between these 2 teams.
