WEEK #6

The thread is open to all those that want to share something positive.

Looking back we actually had 2 home teams win and cover in week 5.  Maybe it was scheduling or coincidence I don't know but the roadies sure did well in the first 4 weeks.  It should settle down and  the one sided run is probably over, but there is still plenty of value on the road dogs in our future.

Short and sweet,  Rookie head coach and poor D and big favorites every week ???  lower these lines or fade ED!   New QB in for Peg might help a little bit.  All i can focus on is ED laying Double digits again.  Fade this team ED squad until the book corrects these lines.

@ Montreal

Crap fest!  No lines and who is starting at QB ?  The play is sask but how many units.  Fade bad teams as favorites  If sask is a favorite on the road I will have no clue what to do.  Looking past this game for now.

Lot of entertainment to be had in the game of the week.


BC I think is starting the wrong QB again.  Lulay is no prize but I think he is still the better option.  BC does a lot of good to compensate for poor QB play.  Nice running game and great D.

Calgary has been the class of the CFL the past few years.  Since the year 2000 they are 98-76 ats 22 games above 500 covering!  56%!  this week finds them at home in revenge of week 1.

The only thing I dont like about Calg this year is their schedule.  2 games against Winnipeg and its hard to get a true feeling of who this team is against real teams.  BC is real and in serious grey cup contenders if they can find solid QB play.  Like the home team in this spot a little bit but nothing serious.  Calgary going for 4 ats covers in a row.

Need to get QB injury status and will add more info as the week moves along.  Ott will be favored.

It's around that area.  Making lines not my strong points.  I would hope your right.  I could see a pickem if Cato starts. 

Sask likely to be small fave. Tough game.

I am not touching the Sask Als game iluntil I have QB information and mull it over more.  I have a good read on these squads but match them up and it gets a bit murky.

Ahhh okay Ray out 3-5 weeks.  I just read it.  8 makes sense now but I still took the 8 and I still like it.  Obviously not as much but cmon my statement holds.  Last year to peg and Sask -4.5 tops this year 8.  Argo's are still a better squad than those two teams last year.

Once again, the CFL is lacking QB's and we are only 6 weeks into the new season. These QB's seem to get injured so often which makes this league a hard league to cap because some of the other QB's aren't well known. 

Harris and Burris both banged up!!!  Could see a more conservative get the ball out take no chances in the pocket offense too.  Hard to predict coaching.  With only 2 downs running isn't really an option. 

Durrant sounds like a good possibility for the start this week.  That doesn't mean an automatic cover.  Bad ATS teams aren't real strong on the road where covering the spread means winning the game.  Even if it is Montreal and Cato im not so excited about this match up.  Maybe stew on it. 

The ugly girl in the miniskirt now has my attention.....leaning Als.

Mtl playing on 3 days rest? Is this unprecedented? Can't imagine them having full tanks in the 2nd half....O line will gas out I imagine....that leads to trouble for struggling offence

What a week

there should be a home team week and with all the injuries at QB its really hard to navigate this. 

I have some Argo's +8 and Peg +10 but not confident in a sweep. 

I am going to look into some totals mainly unders.

Sask Habs under might be good here.

The lines are going crazy,....are there whales among us?

Ok rolling with peg + 9.5 tiny bit at 10 but since it's 9.5 that's what I will make here.
