#1 Duke vs #5 Utah w/ Writeup (Pls.Comment)

Utah, on paper(size, scoring/defensive averages, etc.), looks like a team that could give Duke a tough game, and maybe pull the upset. However, when you look at their resume(wins/losses), I'm just not impressed by anything. The best thing about their resume are the close losses against teams like Kansas and Arizona(the 2nd game). Their best wins are against Wichita St., BYU, UNLV, and Stanford... and they lost to SDSU, UCLA, Washington, and Oregon(twice). I just don't see them taking down a team like Duke, who is battle tested, having won big games against elite opponents, away from home. Duke beat the #2 team in the country(at the time of the game), on the road, twice. They also beat #5 on the road, and #8 at home by 30. I'm not saying Utah has zero chance in this game, but I just think Duke is focused and on their A-game right now, and team like Utah isn't going to take them down while they are.

People betting Utah.. Anyone that can bet without a bias will bet Duke.. There is no reason anyone can give me to convince me Utah is better then Duke. Duke is the better team by a large margin.

Nc state cooked .. Dumb bet.. Leaning Oklahoma but can't bet against IZzo yet. Want to watch first few minutes. Might live bet or second half or lay off it. Don't plan on watching anything but the Duke Utah game!!

Eagle, lets sit back, enjoy a beer and go to cahiers window after game. All doubters, we will buy u guys a hot dog and beer after game. I also took duke 1st half for 20 and ML on game 360 to win 150..

Not betting Utah. Would never ever bet against Duke until they get against the really, really good teams. The refs are too much for average teams to overcome.

But shocker! The refs take out Utahs best player on a bs 3rd foul. That is a terrible call and if you can't admit that, I don't know what to say.

And how many acc teams have gotten a number one seed after not winning either the acc reg season champ or conf champ? Do you know?

Just bc you beat a top team early in the season doesn't entitle you to a one seed. Maybe it does to a Duke fan...Whisky lost to fucking Rutgers, shit happens

I am thinking about duke -1 and under. for second half. I hate watching this game in the football stadium, this isnt typical duke basketball but utah is a very average team. i think duke wins this by double digits

up by 5 at half I guess it could be better, or could be worse...coach K said they were playing a little nervous, hopefully they settle down at half and come out strong

What is my ridiculous reasoning? Duke had the best overall body of work. They earned a one seed. You are in idiot if u think otherwise.. I didn't say anything about Notre dame being a one. So idk what you are even talking about dude.

Totally agree. It being in a football stadium definitely helps Utah whom already struggles on offense. Duke will still won by around 10

If you want to waste your time arguing Duke deaerving a one seed be my guest. This thread is about betting on Duke beating Utah.... If u think Duke isnt #1 seed worthy then you are just a hater. I hate tons of teams but im certainly not ignorant enought to discredit everything about them.

I don't think you are an idiot for disagreeing. I think you are an idiot because you basically are trying to tell me Duke isn't a one seed. I never said Duke was going to win the national ship. Hell, If U read my entire write up- I said gonzaga is a nightmare matchup for Duke.

This was strictly a thread about - winning money on an easy pick. Duke -4.5/5 is an absolute joke against this team. Utah isn't any good. I'm not blindly saying that. I watch college basketball all season. Every game every conference. I like to cap all games and the best way to do it is by seeing teams with your own two eyes.

I understand people disliking Duke. .. But to hate on them for no reason and tell me Utah is going to beat them is laughable.

Everything you've said is strictly anti Duke. There is no single reason you have stated why Utah would have beaten Duke. All it was is anti Duke nonsense.
