LSU back at home after a tough performance last time out against K-state. LSU playing only their 2nd game in 12 days so hopefully some fresh legs and sharpshooting.
with the offensive woes of late, no better team to play than porous Alabama state hornets who play fast and have no respectable defensive qualities to discuss. They give up a ton of threes, foul a lot (both teams do really)….and I would expect lsu to exercise their will and rid themselves of their recent recent offensive blunders.
for Alabama state: Seems like a spot to let the fellas run a bit as they don’t play a game for another week after where they (checked this three times to make sure I saw it right) HOST USC!! Woah.
couple things I like about this game. First one is that both teams are very successful at getting to the foul line and both teams are also poor at playing defense without fowling so I think we will see a ton of fouls in this game and a bunch of opportunities to score with the clock stopped. also both of these defenses are bottom 15 in the country at three-point shots allowed so we could see a ton of threes. The cap here is that we will get good shooting (decent shooting) from three and we should see a bunch of fouls. The line seems short, as u would have made lsu -21 but a quasi close game helps us as Alabama state could play it out and foul down the stretch
I bought half a point for 3 bps more at bookmaker -117, as that gives me a full 10 points of value over where I think this total should be. My numbers have 150.5, so have to play over. I think this is a great spot for LSU to score 90 points here.
85-67 does not seem at all out of the question.
over 140.5

Always read your threads, Duck, and your write-ups are great. Line 146.5 when first available for me, I need to open an account with earlier lines and welcome suggestions from anyone on that, so a no-play for me.
Thanks for posting and GL!

Truly appreciate the early plays, duck. You earn ridiculous closing line value on almost every play!
I have a majority of my bankroll on heritage (with a large minority on BOL) and I have a hard time accessing early lines there. It seems like they flash the lines around when you post, then they disappear until late night or even early morning (I couldn't get the LSU-Bama St play in until 7:00 am today). Do you have tips about the time Heritage posts?

Like you, if we got this game last night around OV 141 and now can get the UN 146.5 at EV Money, would you go ahead and put down at least 50% of your original OVER bet on UNDER and try to get the middle?
