125-1 on NC future

Just looking for opinions on how to hedge this, sell it etc.

I have

$100 on 125-1 NC to win title

$50 on 125–1 NC to win title 

$35 on 100-1 NC to win title 

So $22,435 total if it wins off $185 bet.

Yeah I ingamed Baylor ML +1400 when they were down in high teens for $100

Actually wanted that to hit and cash $1400..but they stumbled in OT.

So I am actually in for $285 total thus far.

You can easily make 10k profit if you get past Thursday's game, and things go your way on Saturday.

So if UNC beats UCLA and faces Purdue..the line would be probably Purdue -4 and ML -250 .

So do not hedge on the Purdue game and bet all the remaining 3 teams futures in Final Four?

i would stop hedging until they make the FF, there's really not much to lock in right now.  you would have to bet 400 on ucla -140 to break even from where you are now. if they beat unc, you will then be in for 700 and have to be 1200 on purdue -170 to break even. if they beat purdue, you're now in for 1900 and if they play gonzaga, you will have to lay probably 8k at -400 to break even. if they beat zaga, you're in for 10k , and you will lose money if they are dogs vs kansas or whoever comes out the other side. and you may not even be able to get a 10k bet in at that point.

don't be the guy who loses 10k trying to make 200$. i've got unc +1800  to make final four 1k to make 18k  and i will not hedge against ucla at all. i didn't get into the trade to make 1-2k, i did it to make 8-10k and will hedge if they face purdue.

I ran a scenario like yours and came to same conclusion. I bet Baylor +1400 in game because it was great value and Manek got tossed so I thought why not.

Im thinking of nailing down Providence 45–1, Michigan 60-1 and Miami 60-1 for like $160-$220 each to try and get a few more longshots I like so I can have more coverage in the event NC and one of those 3 slide into Final Four.

Even if I don’t , What do you think Duke/ Gonz/ Ariz/ Hou and Kan will be odds wise if they make Final Four ?

Duke 3–1

Gonz -150

Ariz +250

Hou 4–1

Kansas +220

Sound Close enough ? I’m just trying to get ballpark odds to run some numbers.

 those look about right, i would say duke closer to +220 to +250 bc their power rating would jump if they beat the zags. also shop around on providence i see 70/1 on fanduel

 got prov +2000 to win their region as well and duke +1800 to win it all. lets get this money!!   not sure why duke is still +1600 blows my mind they have 5 nba draft picks playing hard for coach k right now. duke +450 to win their region is still a decent bet i think

My advice would be to hedge some but wait for in game... amounts typically depend on the players financial situation. If losing it doesn't mean a whole lot then I would wait for in game for a spot where unc is up, I don't see ucla going wire to wire at all, I'm sure unc will get a 7-10 pt lead at some point. And when it happens, I wouldn't take ucla ml, I'd take them at what would be around +3,4, whatever itll be live if they were ahead by that margin.. that way you have a chance to hit the ucla+ (x) as well as stay alive on your unc futures with a close unc victory.... also, if unc is up in the second half by 10+ you can get +$ on ucla alternate live spreads from 1.5 to 3 cuz the live spread in that situation would be 4-5 most likely.... good luck with whatever you choose. I'll root for you until it conflicts with my Michigan futures or my Duke Fandom... but Duke may very well be playing their last game of the tournament against t. Tech so It prob won't interfere with that... Michigan will beat Nova though.

I never took Gonzaga, faded them wagering, nor baylor.

Only team that realistically could fook me is duke.

Iowa I lost with, texas tech too.

Cyclones and St Peters dreams will end...no futures on them.

Well this is a big moment if UNC beats UCLA and faces St Peter’s in Elite 8.

I did this because I have a future on Miami 60-1 for $100

and I have UNC 125-1 and 100-1 for $185 total.

Covering my bets.

Ok so I made some mistakes on more futures and this parlay.

-$1085 lost in tournament thus far.

but have a $22,000 hedge ticket in Final Four (well now $21,000).

Any thoughts on what to do ?

I’m probably gonna ingame Duke or take them ML before the game and just enjoy.

It was a fun ride win or losing this future tomorrow or on Monday night.

Probably never get this close to hitting a 100-1 longshot like this again to win the amount I have on payout.

The biggest odds ever before the tournament to make a title game at 125-1 surpassing Uconn 100-1.

If UNC wins this was the toughest title that I have seen since watching college b-ball since 1987.
