This will allow Virginia to double the post all day since cuse cannot hit the broad side of a barn. I see Virginia winning this easily. I only play over 1 unit a few times a year. Frank- nobody said he wasn't a good coach. He is a good coach. That's all. He became a hall of famer because he has the dome. Anyone can bring talent to a place that has 25-35k a game. He also schedules 18 cupcakes a year. Only time he plays a good team is when he has to before conference play.

Perhaps it was the upset in South Bend followed by the trip to Cameron that caused the Orange to come out dead flat with five turnovers their first seven possessions and ultimately a lackluster effort. Clearly JB's 39th club is not one of his best with NBA defections and injuries to a pair of Mickie D big men.

Nevertheless this is too many points. The Cavs players have never seen the dome and the league with its cozy gyms are a far cry from 30,000. Syracuse is going to run high pick and rolls all night and that will lead to opens shots for its three shooters. Additionally, VA. only sends two to the offensive glass and zones are historically vulnerable to offensive boards.

Feel the over under in the area of 114 is a solid number. Sixty percent are on the over since Bennett has said (and Va. practiced on the first available shot) but who are the shooters exactly!

Call it 59-57 as the Orange will certainly be all out!

Nice write up. Only issue I have is the part you said high screens for syracuse three point shooters?  They have three point shooters?  They have Cooney who has 1 hot game out of every 4. Usually against bad defensive teams. Gbinge is 40% but far from a 3 point shooter. The other guys are setting records for lowest in syracuse history. Bj johnson has come on of late but he will be muscled all over the place in this game.

Due to all the off court issues, this team has not quit. They Duke game was the only time they have been out of a game this year. I don&#x27;t think VA will hit the 3s at the rate Duke did nor has the best center is college basketball as I feel Duke has. The Orange need to pound the ball inside and this game goes down to the wire. Despite the weather, the dome will be rocking tonight.

This under is a lock. Virginia is not pushing the ball at all a disaster against the zone. Syracuse  will not score much outside of Christmas
