I'm considering doing that as stated in my earlier post, toohigh, but I would have to find an online book that gives a ml on such obscure teams, I don't think bm does.

Went 5-3 on the eight I played. Missed the push by half point  Con Sacramento St. Played ML on Tennessee Chatanooga at +305 and won. Only one I played on ML. Good night for system. Great work Kineprofessor and Ryno.

kenpom updates daily, and it says on the site when the last update was.

Bookmaker does offer MLs on these games, although perhaps not on the very lopsided ones.

Basically all offshore books offer MLs on a game where they offer a spread (the exception is when the spreads are so large, basically only 5 Dimes will offer a ML).

No, Campbell hasn't had a game with a spread all year and Highpoint has only had 2. It's stated somewhere you don't play these games

Unfort played UNCG (even though it was not a play) as I was in a rush. Not sure why people post plays that do not qualify...

Someone said Davidson was at 143 last night, I didn't check last night but I see them at 133 now, does anyone know what they were really at last night?  Even Ryno had them as a play,

They were ranked 143 to start the day, in my opinion it was a play. I didn't play Portland St however because the line opened at 7, at least at my book.

Davidson was 143 before tipoff of last nights game. 

UNGC was an official play on the system. you could always invest $20 in kenpom and see for yourself!

No one was whining Chimes McGee. I understand the parameters of the system; there were just several people who said UNCG was/was not a play. It wasn't clear. So don't get your panties all in a wad.

Does anyone remember a parameter of the system that avoids playing the dog if the home team is having Senior Day.

If you understand, then you don't need to worry about whatever anyone posts, do you?


So post 1803 - that clearly showed it was a play and listed the rankings of both teams prior to the games played the night before (hard to know the Kenpom rankings for the following day if you're using opening lines - but then again, since you know the system, you know that too, right?  ), and the post right after that, 1804, where Ryno agreed it was a play, would those be the posts you're referring to where it wasn't clear and where people posted plays that weren't plays?

Sure sounds like whining.

See for tomorrow following. Question is because system went 0-3 last Saturday should you lower your wagers on Saturday?

Appalachian St +7.5 vs Chatannoga (268)

N.C. Greensboro + 11.5 vs Wofford (179)

Tenn St + 13.5 vs E Kentucky (140)

IUPUI +9 vs Western Illinois (269)

Southern Utah +16.5 vs Montana (199)

Portland St +8.5 vs Northern Colorado (222)

Northern Arizona +12 vs Weber St (165)

FYI

First, you need to realize that there are always a handful of games every season that are "fuzzy" (i.e. did a line move to the "6.5 threshold" and, of course, the infamous what line did you get it at, as these games can have a tendency to move multiple points in any direction).  No matter how you look at it, over the past two seasons, from bracketbuster Saturday till the end of the season, this system has been 30+ games over .500.  If you include the "pre-system" (starting Feb 1st till bracketbuster Saturday), the past three seasons the pre-system is 25+ games over .500 itself.

Tenn Tech needs to be double digit dog because Morehead St ranked (168). Missing Tenn St.

Chimes, I was inferring that I was in a rush and wasn't sure if UNCG was a play. There have been 'hazy' plays as there is a 'sliding scale' on what qualifies. Hence, the comment. It was in jest. I haven't been critical of any plays in here, nor anyone I tail. As implied, I had not checked the up to date ranking and someone mentioned UNCG was not a play. It seems it was.

Regardless, no bitching here. Maybe you should have read my previous post praising the positive day. Troll someone else. :handshake:
