completely style clash here....usually the more Defensive and structured team wins those IF AND ONLY IF they stay disciplined with their slow, methodical style and structure....which CINCY does as Cronin is a phenomenal coach....UCLA has size but so does CIncy and UCLA can't shoot from distance....we shall see what happens but im going big as I really like this CIncy team.

pacific is sorry...they've played 2 ok teams in nevada and wyoming and lost to both by dd....they are 5-6....have played a lousy schedule and aren't tall or athletic....
contrary to that, unlv is long athetic and fast...
this is a complete physical mismatch....
on top of that......
we have UNLV that scores the overwhelming majority of their points from inside the arc and inside the paint really....17th most 2 pt offense.... they don;t rely on or really shoot the 3....
pacific does NOT defend the 2, hilariously, they are the 342nd worst against the 2.....that will not bode well against unlv...
on the flip side, pacific scores from inside as well and doesn't shoot the 3, or can't, HOWEVER unlv is the 5th best defense against the 2 in the nation......again, does not bode well for pacific...
literally all of the KenPom stats and 'sabermetrics' points to a UNLV smashing....is it that easy? no, but that's how I have been evaluating all of the games this year and thus far it is treating us well.
motivation is key...is UNLV motivated? I dont know but they havent played for 7 days and they dont have a look-a-head so I am guessing they are ready to stomp on these pacific clowns...
good luck whatever you guys play but i am going big in this spot
