"Dammit fizz... tailed and lost a ton again. That’s it no more."
Alwayswetboy,
If you're going to be successful at sports betting you have to gather info, look at the numbers, and use them to your advantage. Plenty of posters have given his real record, and it was posted again Monday as a warning. To be fair to Fizbo, the record should have also included the third week in Jan, which doesn't make him look bad like the other weeks:
Mon 1/18 to Sun 1/23 -$175.00.
And he was even better the second week: Mon 1/11 to Sun 1/17 -$40.00
Of course, the first week of Jan should be included too, and it was typical Fizbo:
Mon 1/4 to Sun 1/10 -$4,000.00
So, here's his 2021:
Mon 1/4 to Sun 1/10 -$4,000.00
Mon 1/11 to Sun 1/17 -$40.00
Mon 1/18 to Sun 1/24 -$175.00
Mon Jan 25 to Sun 1/31 -$4,245.00
Mon 2/1 to Sun 2/7 -$1,035.00
Mon 2/8 to Sun 2/14 -$2,530.00
Mon 2/15 to Sun 2/21 -$3,500.00
Mon 2/22 to Sun 2/28: -$8,750.00
Total - $24,275.00 (or damned close to it.)
You're tailing a guy who has not had a single winning week this year. And it's March. That's a warning to you faders, too, tread lightly, eventually he's going to win a week, even Fizzy can't lose forever (Though I could be wrong.)
He'll deny it of course, but the info is there, and the math doesn't lie. But don't take my word for it. Take a pen, a piece of paper, and two minutes of your time. Go to his post from this past Thursday, and jot down his plays. He was down over $9,000 when he posted his "MUST WIN PLAYS!" guaranteed winners that would get back "ALL my losses and more!" To get back his losses and more the bet would have to be a minimum of 11,000 to win $10,000 (or $5,500 for two bets) since he was down over $9,000. He didn't win (of course) he went 1-1, -$500 in juice, down close to $10,000.00 for the night.
He said he only lost $5,000 that day. Match his # to your # and you'll see he's shaving a couple thousand dollars off.
There are PLENTY of winning handicappers here at Covers who can help you. Look to them if you have to tail someone.
If you keep tailing Fizbo thinking he's due, you may as well take the Washington Generals at home laying points to the Globetrotters. They're due, too.

@VeritasAlways
Appreciate the detailed breakdown Veritas ... it definitely paints a clearer picture now
wanted to give fizz the benefit of the doubt since so many were bashing him... guess this explains it
Hope he turns things around... esp for the others who tail

I'm sure this took a bit of time and I commend you for doing it, however its all unnecessary as not a single wager posted actually took place
we live in a society of likes and mentions and comments to get recognition. this is simply another avenue

@BIGDTITLE
Are you saying Fizz did not place any monetary wagers on all of these losses?
It was just a ploy to garner attention, views and likes?

"Wetboy - there are plenty of winning handicappers at Covers who can help you."
And there's one of them checking in. Steady, mature. Follow him instead of Fizzy.
Raiders, confession - I stole that line from Krusty the Clown.
BigD - I spend a few hours each day making numbers anyway, the record check is a momentary break from that, and only takes a minute to update because I didn't have to start from scratch and go through a long history. I started it when he did his last "restart to 0-0." I wanted to see who was telling the truth - his detractors or the Fizz. And, for amusement and altruistic purposes.
Verdict - you are correct.
Alwayswet - you're welcome. I've written dozens of magazine and web columns to help bettors, this is just more of the same to me. Sports betting is difficult to beat, takes a lot of time, work, some level of talent, plus luck. But there are some basic rules to follow that can help you lose less if not win. Don't bet too many games, and don't chase losses are two of the basics. Don't increase wager sizes and chase losses (the sure mark of an amateur, and a sure way to a zero bank account.) And DON'T tail a guy who does.
