virginia shoots very well from anywhere, particularly the 3-ball @ a staggerin 39%, further, they ger 40% of points from 3 land. And if you know anything about a zone D, that is the weak point, especially when a team like UVA has a very high assist ratio and moves the ball brilliantly. UVA does not get to the FT line hardly at all, which is fine because that won't happen against the Cuse D anyway. On the other hand, syracuse's weakness is 3 pt shooting as they shoot 32% and get very few points from behind the arc. They cut and drive to the rim and get to the FT line. IF you know anything about the packline D of UVA that has been much highlighted in Bennet's tenure, you know that they don't let you get inside on them and force you outside and into long jumpers. UVA also has significant depth and experience/continuity advantages. Syracuse is good and could keep it competitive no doubt but based on how both teams play on O and D, this matchup completely plays into UVAs strengths on both sides. If UVA is hitting their 39% season avg from3, this won't be close. good luck and play within your own means.
