Yes another Jackets/eagles thread, but all I'm seeing is "um obviously BC will win"
Just a few things I've noted when looking into this game:
-home court loss revenge. This angle is no secret, but still exists. Hanlan was soaking wet in Atlanta in their first meeting. I'd imagine their def strategy this time around will be to limit his looks.
-jackets without Hunt. This is a big loss for GT, but teams do rise up shortly after a key player loss and play above Their ability short term.
- part of the reason for this is, the team that loses the player has to usually come up with some new schemes that will fit their new look offense/defense. So while BC beat the jackets earlier this season, today's jackets will look different and their prep for this game will have to change.
-lastly, on the Brian Gregory radio show yesterday, he had to talk in depth about the possible matchup with either WF or BC because the shoe was pre-recorded this past Saturday and they didn't yet know their opponent. It was apparent that he was dreading a first round matchup against Wake. Tech has had multiple days off since March 3rd for the kids to rest and plenty of time to implement a patch work system without Hunt. BCs last game was March 7th.
I think Tech is rested and ready to play their ideal first round opponent.
2.5 looks good but i am going to wait for this to hopefully climb around lunchtime and possibly even by more points.

Valid points. I'm on the other side the new scheme will mess with BC to start. But you think Hanlan hasn't seen teams try to stop him with all types of schemes yet? He is far and away the best player in this game. Based on the eye test alone Bc has been playing MUCH BETTER BALL than GT. Good luck tho friend!
