***Airforce @ Army***(Neutral Site) 1pm EST Tip

Hi All,

It's great to be back in action and I'm gearing up for another solid year.  Those that followed along last year saw solid handicapping from beginning to end with two monster 15-2 streaky runs and a 6-0 record in Towson match-ups.

What sticks out early tomorrow is one of the first games on the card.  I'm laying Airforce +3 vs an VERY beatable Army squad.  This line might move to pickem so jump early and hard.

RPI's don't compare (79 AF vs Army 201) and Airforce is used to battling day in and day out in the mountain west. 


Lets get them early.  Cake walk here.

I've watched Army play and they're beatable regardless of the experience level.  Any time you get 3 points on a Mountain West team vs a Patroit league team , you roll with it. 

Army will be lucky to finish mid pack in the Patriot League.

Airforce +3 .

Army returns lots of experience...they only lost by 10 last year....and yes...af lost everyone....they just got smacked pretty bad by weber st

Never a horrible play to catch a few points in a matchup with two weak teams early in the season.  But, that said, AF essentially lost all it's starters from last year, while Army returns 4 of the top 6 scorers as well as 4 of their top 6 rebounders. 

No doubt that gives them a better chance to play above their potential in the first few weeks of the season.  Short of having actually been at these teams practices in the off season, I don't see how you can say that this is a "bet it and forget it" situation. LOL

Now I remember you, wish you luck this season, hope you learned alot from last year. Its the first game of the season why are you talking about RPI's.

Army is not Weber St.  Weber St is an absolute monster on their home court.  I consider the 19 point loss by Airforce at Weber St (exhibition) a solid step in the right direction.

Airforce should win this outright.

Seriously, the amount of returning guys for low majors means basically nothing. My school Monmouth has a bunch of guys returning. We're still not gonna do well this year though. Any mid/high major with a bunch of new guys is still better than a low major with returning players. The quality of play in Mountain West ball is vastly superior to Patriot League ball. I saw Army a couple years ago and they were considerably improved last season, but by that I mean like middle of the pack in the Patriot League. Mountain West just has better talent than the Patriot League. It's not really close either. I took AF and the Points here. Army isn't Lehigh the last couple seasons.

you will be broke by Christmas if you live with this model.  Davidson, Lehigh, Florida Gulf Coast, George Mason all teams in recent years that have done damage, so to say anytime you get points with team in known conf over small college is absurd.  baskets is the one sport all you need is one star to make a deep run

There's no value in the ml comparative to the line odds.  Take the 3 points and lock down the win.

Army is the trendy pick to win the Patriot league. Air Force is the bottom of the barrel in the Mountain West.
