  I think Burke has one of his 7-20 shooting nights and if that happens Michigan has no answer..The Kansas guards won't have to do much of anything offensively because of the possible dominance of Withey and co. on the frontline..we shall see though good discussion..

How many games u see michigan play? Are u aware of how good they are offensively. Are u aware they are hot cold team? This team is hot and I wouldn't play Kansas considering the confidence michigan is playing with ! Perfect storm for Kansas! Kansas is solid and has veteran leadership who is going to guard Burke and hard away? Wither is key but McGrath and him both are toilers and that may be equalizer! Michigan by 5 late

By faster I meant athletic! Michigan has more nba talent so how are they not more athletic? Really michigan is very athletic and all these guys can hoops a lot better than kansas

I'm not betting it no value! I'm not even saying michigan wins but as far as talent and ceilings michigan is better and higher! Kansas is great sure but this isn't a great matchup for them

lot of good points already made.  this is a big chance for mitch to take his game to the next level, withey doesn't bring much to the table offensively imo.  It is a sharp line but i think michigan wins here we have the players to match up with kansas and better pg play releford and mclemore don't hold a candle to timmy, trey, and gr3 at all...seems like people are finding every possible way to fade this michigan bball team

They beat colo st and VCU in home games. We'll see about that confidence.  I saw it in East Lansing.

I am a Senior at Kansas and I have read a lot in this thread that is just wrong. I have watched every Kansas game this season and for the past couple seasons as well as attending almost all of them. Here are your mistakes:

1. Jeff Withey is going to dominate Mitch McGary. Wrong. Watch Jeff play and quit assuming things. Jeff struggles against smaller centers. Although McGary is 6-10, he is not 7 foot and doesn't play like he is. Withey is a beast against other 7 footers and those that play like it. Withey will be a factor against Trey Burke and company driving to the lane, but not necessarily manned up on McGary.

2. KU guards love to guard the perimeter. This is the worst part of our defense! Have you watched Elijah Johnson play??? He is a god awful defender against Kansas basketball standards. Just look at our three games against iowa st. 2 nail biters because we don't guard the three point line. 2 point defense is godly, 3 point defense is lacking. 

The difference in this game is if Kansas can limit the turnovers that we have had so far in this tourney which have just been ridiculous. Releford came up huge last game and that will be a big factor. I forget the stat but it is something like when he scores over 9 points in a game we have lost once in 2 years. Don't quote me on that but it is something ridiculous. I expect Travis (our best defender) to take out glenn robinson. Hardaway will get some open looks on Mclemore but Hardaway is vastly overrated. Mclemore has been playing like complete garbage lately so he has to make some shots. (He loves the corner three like Ray Allen, its beautiful to watch). Naadir Tharpe is a better defender than Elijah and I hope that we play him a lot on him. 

After all that I don't have a play on a side. I'm playing the under for the game and big on the 1H under. BOL to all.

I think Kansas ill draw away at end. But Kansas cannot go down big early either like 14-2 like they did to nc. Kansas have to run a slow slow game and Kansas by 7 in the end

A few things! Hardaway is not vastly overrated! Some games he nust doesnt get goin but during the tourney he is GOING! Which means trouble! Putting your best defender on glenn robinson is just fine with this michigan fan considering he isnt our best offensive score no worries he isnt even number 2! Hardaway is going to destroy mclemore! Shoot right over him! Ive seen it happen and will watch it happen again! Ive watched every michigan game and haradway if anything is underrated! I take offense to that considering u probably watch 2 michigan games this year which he quietly score 15 points! Trey burke is once again all that matters ! He gets the guys going! Mcgary has only started playing at this high level since tourney! I actually beloeve he gets in foul trouble and jordan morgan comes in running up and down the floor getting layups on your transition defense!
