Down to the last 4. Quite an achievement for the Bruins - Cronin has really done a great job with his young group -no seniors on this squad! They’re fierce, play fundamentally, and they’ve created an identity.
Can they continue their run? No. Just too many weapons with the Zags. Only difference with UCLA vs USC, is that the guards for the Bruins can take care of the ball better and they can get back and defend. I think Bruins have the guard lineup and defensive capabilities to slow this game down. I don’t see Cronin offensively running like they did vs Michigan State or Alabama. I think there’s a slight chance the game starts slow & sloppy (mmmm)- missed shots, turnovers, etc...and eventually see the Zags pull away.
1st play: Zags/Bruins 1H Under 69

Line is spot on...but IMO somewhat a deceiving line. Houston +5 seems like the correct public play...excellent defending team, slow tempo, plays with grit....overall should be great matchup be Baylor. But, after rethinking this through I’m convinced Baylor is the right side.
1. Scott Drew vs Kevin Sampson - Taking the better coach. I trust Drew over Sampson on any given day. Something about Sampson that just rubs me the wrong way. Guy apparently has had allegations over recruiting violations in Indiana. Feel like he’s still doing something shady...not sure what, but sense it a little with his personality.
2. Baylor’s experience vs slow tempo teams. They’ve faced slow moving teams in Wisconsin, Nova, & Kansas. Has Houston faced an up and down team like Baylor? Nope, can’t find a single team..closest maybe Texas Tech. On top of that, who have they face in the tourney? Teams ranked #10,#11,#12, & #15. Just feel Baylor plays at a different level compared to whom they faced.
