Back at it bright & early.  Slept 2 hours and doing what I love doing every March Madness in Las Vegas…studying tape/stats and determining where cash opportunities exist… I’ve had a few bad days in prev years, but hoping it pays off again in Day 2….

Yep, Alford was horrible at UCLA, and now Nevada…like I’ve said, 1H MW teams is the better option…move forward brother and g/l today.

Wisconsin-5 (2U)…too big in the key, and IMO outside conferences tend to struggle with their scheme. Help, but I’m thinking DD blowout???

No 12/5 UPSETS imo….Grand Canyon might be most capable, but it’ll be a big hurdle to get climb.

DUKE and AUBURN are my UPSET targets today…

Why Yale? Return 4/5 starters from LY…Remeber Princeton in LYs tourney who beat Zona and went to the SW16? Well, Yale beat them 2X LY in conference play, ….imo, the Zona team that lost to Princeton LY is better than this year’s Auburn team.  Yale has an Ivy League defensive player of the year, a big than can fill the paint, and a couple shooter in Mahoney & Poulakidas (39 & 46% from DEEP!!!) Great counter weapons to Auburns strengths. Also Yale had a little taste of Gonzaga and KU earlier in the season, SHOULD help with expectations. The question is can they EXECUTE.

Why Vermont? Lost LY in the 1st round to a very good Marquette team.  They shoot a lot better LY, and team plays better defensively.  ….The con…All 5 new starters. Duke’s Flip should play better vs a smaller key presence, but he’s not physical, which bodes well for Vermont. This could turn out to be like my Akron upset, but it’s great insurance play to Yale…I always look for other options, and this one is the next best.
