I have futures on both Zags and Baylor prior to the beginning of the season. Trying not to be bias with my pick, but let’s look at some angles...
In my previous post, I pointed out how Butler is better at 2 positions: Coaching and shooting guard. Zags have advantage w/ 4 of 5 positions (PG, SF, PF, and C).
What must Butler do to win? Vital, Teague, and Mayer will need to contribute more offensively. Zags primary focus defensively will be on Butler and Mitchell. I think if these 2 score 17+ each, Baylor possibly wins or covers. If Butler and Mitchell scores below that mark, the 3 mentioned above I think has to pick it up somehow. Now some of you will say Teague avgs DD regularly right? He has recently struggled vs elite defensive teams - Nova, Wisconsin, and Houston held him to 11,5,and 9 point for an avg of 8ppg! Zags are #8 in defensive efficiency p/ KP.
Concern for Butler defensively: no doubt Mitchell and Butler will do their thing defensively. But what about Vital? Imo, I think he’ll have a difficult time running around the perimeter guarding Ayayi. Leaving Zags to focus on the low post matchup up Timme vs.Thamba - advantage Timme (MVP prop value!)
1 final game for this Zags team to make history. They know this is prob the last time they’ll make both history at a national level and at a program level. They’ve gotten this far for 1 final game and I really don’t see them mentally or physically exhausted vs that UCLA OT win (as some here has discussed)
Zags -4.5 is the play.

@NYMoneyTeam UCLA > Houston, Arkansas, Nova, and Wisconsin. Game tonight will be history.
LOL FALSE.. now all a sudden UCLA better than those teams because they made a run lol. stop it... Nova would certainly beat UCLA. Timme handled them down low and Nova's bigs would do the same. Furthermore Nova is smarter on offense. Styles make fights.

@TheWestbelfort - I think with the way UCLA was playing, they would have beaten just about every other team it was up against. It took a monumental effort from Gonzaga to pull it out. Imagine playing your A++ game and losing...That's what UCLA did. This is a heavyweight battle tonight, both teams are even and most likely will be decided in the final minute..Good Luck
