Speechless with ISU game. Games like that happen, we need to accept it, and move on…overall got to love the smell of March air in January.
One reason I love today’s game.Coaching …Coach Miller is one of the most underrated coaches in the nation. He won the NIT in his 1yr with Xavier, and then took them to the S16 the following year… getting one of the best coaches as double digit dog gets some value imo.
He’s ability to dissect and understand the critical points of a game is unbelievable. Watched and listened to Miller on that 1st matchup and it’s true….transition defense killed them in that game…and I agree that is an easy fix...especially for young players. One thing that will help with transition defenses, is UConn gets big man Clingan back…(which public sees as a +++!!!) imo getting him back actually slows down that fast transition game **1/2 court game improves so UConn may want to slow this game down…but a total of 148 tells me this will be an up/down kind of game…
Couple other things to add..
Xavier’s young bench players are starting to contribute more…keep an eye for Swain and Green…I think this is a much better Xavier team early on…their schedule has been one of the toughest…Playing Purdue, Houston, UConn 2X.
Why the ML? Remeber Xavier beat UConn 2X last year… different team, but UConn was also much better last year.

Also looked back to last year’s Xavier Loses… out of 4 first game matchup loses, Xavier came back and won 3 of those games in the rematch. Will be eyeing Xavier ML in rematch of Nova, St John, and Creighton games this year.

Would love to take Xavier. But UConn is a dangerous team that can turn it up in a matter of seconds. Every team knows this is is still the team to beat in the entire nation and they’ve been battled tested against the best and worst teams in nation. Only a matter of time before UConn starts to steamroll through teams again.

UConn must’ve of heard a lot of noise today because they came out with a chip on their shoulder. Held Xavier under double digits for the first 17 mins of the game.

I took Xavier. Sorry man. I'd like to think I don't have that kind of power but I'm starting to believe no matter what I take it's a loser. Lots of time left in this one though.

I was teasing UConn to -2 till I read that ml nonsense. It dropped to 1.5 and instead I got Xavier+21.5. It wouldn't even let me buy out. They might make a run but it looks pretty bleak. I had LSu last night teased and I needed Bama to miss that last shot. I bought out at 16 had a chance to tweener I feel your pain.

Watching this uconn team and without clingman I was thinking the same thing about not being as good as last year.. but with how wide open it is and the way this Uconn team is turning it up and they are so deep .. this might be the best team in the country .. idk your thoughts but I'd sure like this team over a Purdue, Arizona, Kentucky, Duke etc .. I think they have to be the favorites to win it all

I get what your saying but I've hit more than I've lost and if things start getting ugly you can buy out unfortunately in this case didn't get the chance. Xavier has played some tough teams close but I still should have teased UConn.

Oh my…worst beat down analysis this season…Miller is a good coach, but players still need time to grow.
UConn is crazy good, their off ball movement is the best in the nation. You’ll need a really good coach & some really good discipline players to offset that system. Tough to execute, but anything is possible in March…
on to the NFL with my Niners play…
