Delaware’s been hot, but I just think the teams they played subpar defense. Watched the replay of the Towson game and the Tigers played horrible at defending…lacked physicality in the paint, passing lane, boxing out, etc…and mind you, Delaware ain’t that physical or fundamental offensively (or defensively).
On the flip side, I thought Charleston gave everything they had vs UNCW. Charleston defense is WAY > than Delaware by a large margin. On the same note, UNCW is more fundamental than Towson…they do good job boxing out…#17 in goal rebounds nationally…this is a huge advantage considering Delaware effectively shoots the 3 ball well…stopping this will be a huge hurdle for UNCW, but I think they can execute this at a pretty good level considering they did an excellent job last game.
