Best time of the year my friends! Welcome to Kansas City for the BIGXII Tournament!
Kansas Jayhawks
Texas Tech Red Raiders
West Virginia Mountaineers
Kansas State Wildcats
TCU Horned Frogs
Baylor Bears
Texas Longhorns
Oklahoma State Cowboys
Oklahoma Sooners
Iowa State Cyclones
I’ve been on this conference like white on rice since I could remember. I’ll be focusing on this tournament and I’ll use this thread to share insight on each matchup, along with my prediction ATS. BOLTA. Lets have some fun, but more importantly, let’s secure that bag.

Talk to us, Hook Em. I've been following your muses on the Big 12 all season and certainly do respect your conference knowledge. Very much looking forward to your selections and write ups.
Lei's kick Da Man's behind. Have a wonderful tourney.

FUTURE: TO WIN: We have some of the biggest names in the country here in Kansas City. You have the UNANIMOUS BigXII POY in Devonte Graham (well deserved), along with Trae Young, (hopefully) Mo Bamba, Keenan Evans, D Wade, list goes on. The Jayhawks come in as the clear favorite, don’t believe me? They sit at +200, who just came off a rough loss in Stillwater against OSU. I’ll pass on the Jayhawks as they have their mind set elsewhere, add on they haven’t really impressed me this year. I love West Virginia this week. That “in your living room type of play”, in your head, up your nose, stifling defense. I can’t STAND them when they’re facing my Horns, but man you got to love the way they play for Huggy. They’re hovering around +325. I’ll lock in the Neers to win this years Big 12 Tournament. But, NOT SO FAST.. Keep your eye out on Texas sitting at +1400. Bamba is doubtful in their opening matchup against ISU, but if Texas wins against Iowa St, watch to see if he can get in against Tech tomorrow, i’d flirt with +1400 and back Texas to take this years tournament. Bamba must be healthy though. Your call.
To win: West Virginia +325
Dark horse: Texas (w/ Bamba) +1400

You’re telling me we’re starting out with Bedlam??? Yes please. The Pokes of OkState have put together back to back wins and they’re playing some great basketball as of late. Oklahoma has been way too 1-D with Trae Young, they’re too inconsistent. I expect Jeffrey Carroll, Kendall Smith, and Mitchell Solomon to have themselves a nice night. The Cowboys will be too much for the Sooners and I expect the Cowboys to cover and win handedly.
Pick: Oklahoma State +2 (-120)

My Horns look to square up against the ‘Clones of Iowa State in tonight’s play-in to the quarterfinals. Winner gets a date with Texas Tech. ELECTRIC. Now to the matchup. Bad news. Texas has taken down Iowa State twice, both in January. I’m expecting it to be a hard fought battle tonight in game 3. Texas has their backs against the wall against the Neers, in a must win to stay alive for a bid. No Bamba, no Davis, no problem. They got the job done. I focus on Iowa State here to play with nothing to lose with their two talented freshman in Wigginton and Lard. Experience ‘could’ have an impact against Texas, but i’m not banking on it. Bamba is doubtful, but it’s shown without Bamba, the offense has created plenty of open looks for Osetkowski, Febres, Young, and Roach. The shots were falling against West V, but tonight I don’t see us getting so lucky. I see a down to the wire ball game against an Iowa State team with nothing to lose, and a Texas team with plenty to lose. BOL
