Providence +1 **LARGE x2**
Providence was one of the hottest teams down the stretch while Butler has issues scoring consistently.
The Big East is my Biatch this year

The key for Providence has been the improved play of guard Luwane Pipkins recently, who has added an extra weapon to go along with Alpha Diallo & David Duke to form a dangerous 3 guard group.
Providence looking to improve their seeding.....

And just to put this in perspective, I am a big Villanova guy and watch a lot of Big East basketball, so I think I have a pretty good handle on these teams.
I didn't start posting college ball until after the Super Bowl, I have had 2 large bets both on Villanova games which won. The last one was when Providence won outright against Villanova as an 8 point dog. I believe i'm around 12-3 against the number betting on the Big East to date.
Nothing is guaranteed but i like this spot for Providence
Just my opinion....

The Providence Friars have won six of the last eight meetings against Butler, and they head into this tournament playing head and shoulders the better basketball. Providence is not only riding a six-game winning streak, but the Friars are winning their last five games by an average of 14 points while allowing 39.8 percent shooting from the field and 26.3 percent shooting from deep. The Butler Bulldogs have had their fair share of hiccups these last few weeks, and they lose non-home games by an average of 3.9 points while shooting 1.8 percent less from the field compared to their season average. Give me the free point and the team in much, much better form.

It benefits the favorites in my opinion.
Big dogs ride the emotion of the crowd when they are playing well in spurts to energize them, without the crowds support the spurts will be shorter and far less sustainable

I think the lack of an audience favors Butler - Providence is an emotional bunch starting with their head coach. Butler much more methodical and controlled in their approach.
This was going to be my biggest play of the week - I am still playing the Friars but the news of no fans knocked my unit play down several notches. Let's get it.
