7 SEC schools left of 18 total teams jeebus
What the hell does that have to do with handicapping a game. Reel of 7 straight wagers that are winners as opposed to praising greed !! Who gives a damn

@Kapthat
Nobody 'pissed in my Wheaties". Let me rephrase so maybe you will understand. Since the SEC has more money to hand out than any other conference the real shocker would be that if they did not send 7 teams to the sweet 16. More money equals higher caliber players as a whole. If your are a fan boy I guess you can cheer for your conference, your team or whatever else you like. However, tat has nothing to do with wagering unless it was a futures bet you placed somewhere

Lol you SEC fanboys are laughable. They are no longer the best football conference and basketball they got 50% of their teams in. Not earth shattering. I guess living in the armpit of America, that's all you really have

@VicVega91
This is 1000% false , the big 10 schools have more $ to spend and it’s not close. It’s an easy verifiable fact you could have looked up. The enrollment at the big 10 schools is 3x that of the smaller SEC schools , excluding Texas

people who love conferences or divisions crack me up. never have i ever cheered for a conference at either the college or pro level. i got my teams and i dont feel better if some other team from my conference or division does well. if my team loses i dont suddenly jump on the conference or division bandwagon and cheer for teams i hate.

SEC had 14 teams in so it stands to reason about half should be left. 15-7 overall record, .682, 3rd best winning percentage. Consider the Big 12 put 7 teams in and still has 4 teams left, better than half and the best winning percentage of all the conferences, 11-3, .786. Ultimately your judged on teams in the Final Four. Big East once put 3 in, St. Johns, Nova, and Georgetown and Nova defeated Georgetown in the championship game, 1985. When someone can duplicate that again, I'll gladly tip my cap.

@River_fish
I'm not an SEC fanboy, far far from it. I'm from way out West. With your logic, do you think the Big East is top dog in basketball since UConn won the last 2 years ? I hope not. Could you please check out the past champions in football from 2006, the SEC won 13 and the remaining teams won 6 and that includes the last 2 the Big 10 won. That's lopsided if you ask me. If you look up baseball, the SEC won the last 5 years in a row. And the amount of teams in this year's Basketball Tournament is crazy, just saying that the SEC has all of the talent whether you agree or not.

The reason the SEC is dominating college hoops in a way we havent seen before is because 75% of the conference are at least first year seniors. Auburn's average age is about the same as the OKC Thunder. The covid year 25 year olds are all pretty much gone after this year. I'm not slighting the dominance, but next year it will look nothing like this....
