You are clearly a solid capper.
Many are relying on your picks, and I have no doubt that you'll help a few win back what they lost on tonight's losing pick.
Many haters are paid by sportbooks to pounce on good cappers when they lose, no matter what -- that's one aspect. Bookies hate good cappers who hand out winning picks for free.
The larger aspect, however, is that many haters had likely gone with your pick with much larger amounts of units than normal, given the strength of your reasoning of your play -- so when this play lost, especially losing so badly in the 2H of the game, that bothers those who had relied on this game to recover their lost units that they had lost prior to this game this evening.
So, for those of you who had lost a bunch of units on this play, I suggest that you divide up those units evenly over IPW's next 15 plays and you'll get your money back -- and then some.
Mozart - As near as I could tell, there was no "reasoning" at all that went along with this pick. It was, and I'm paraphrasing, "trust me, this kind of situation comes along only once or twice a season." This suggests the Original Poster "knew something" or had some kind of information that was not readily available to the rest of the handicapping world.
Yet, my bigger point concerns the kind of bankroll damage that comes along with the suggestion to the followers to throw out all money management discipline and, if you will, bet the farm. Let's say followers were betting single units the last five plays and won their bets. The followers would be up five units.
Considering what the OP was suggesting, that this game was a virtual lock and to bet all one could afford, the wild-eyed gambling followers would presumably bet everything they had on this advice. Only to be wiped out.
I am constantly amazed that the old axiom "A fool and his money are soon parted" is put into play every single day in these forums.
Follow if you must, people. But do yourselves a huge favor and show some restraint with your money management.
That's it for me. I will climb down from my soapbox
