Tonight starts the conference tourneys so I decide to make 1 thread where i'll post my plays to save some time. I'll post the play 1st and then the write-up. My play today is:
A-Sun tourney 1st RD game with USC Upstate coming to town as the #8 seed with a record of 10-21 off a buzzer beater win at HM Thursday Night vs NJIT. N.Florida is the #1 seed with a record of 21-10 winners of their last 3 off an 81-80 win vs their in-city rival Jacksonville
N.Florida swept the season series vs Upstate beating them 78-62 on January 21st and 81-78 Feb 20th which was senior night. In that senior night game Upstate had a 9 point lead with 8:45 left. They outrebounded N.Florida 41-34. They shot 51.5% to N.Florida's 46%. From 3 Upstate was 5-12 and N.Florida was 8-31. In the 1st meeting the difference was a 19-2 edge in PTS off TO's for N.Florida
N.Florida has 5 guys who average at least 12 PPG 4 guys who average 4+rebounds and 7 guys who've made at least 50 3 pointers.. Their #1 guy is Dallas Moore who averages 19.7 PPG 4 Rebs and 6.1 assists. Upstate is more of a balanced scoring team with 7 guys who average at least 5.5 PPG
In my research I found an interesting story. Do you know how North Florida HC Matthew Driscoll did this past weekend leading up to today's game? He was an ordained minister for a wedding in Jacksonville. It was for a couple he knows in the N.Florida administration
The Ospreys average 85 PPG. They shoot 49% from the field. They shoot 41.6% from 3 and only allow their opponents to shoot 32.7% from 3. And the big one Upstate shoots 63.7% from the foul line which is 339th in college hoops whereas N.Florida shoots 73.2% from the foul line which is 51st in college hoops. I like N.Florida to come out with a 19-20 point opening round win

If njit creeps into single digits I'd take them definitely.! Was 14.5 that was too high imo, but if it gets down to 8.5 or 9 I like Njit. Place is gonna be excited tonight for their game

What is your deal? I find you in so many threads adding zero value. All you are doing here is ripping the poster who is obviously successful with his style. Say something productive or keep your keyboard shut.

Westgate Superbook, Las Vegas Conference tourney odds
MAAC Monmouth even Iona +180 Siena 3-1 Fairfield 30-1 St Peter's 40-1 field 50-1
WCC Gonzaga +120 St Mary's +120 BYU 9-2 Pepperdine 25-1 field 50-1
chanced Pepperdine 25-1 for $40. 1st round game vs San Francisco. the Waves split with the Don's this season with each winning on the others court. Waves also split with BYU each winning on home court, lost both to Gonzaga with the last being a 3 point "squeeker" @ home. they also BEAT my St Mary's Gaels BOTH games this season

agree 100%, housemoney21. THAT is the main reason I rarely post in this Covers CBB ZOO. TOO many useless goofs sniping at the useful posters like packers1992

Im taking Kennesaw State +7.5 tonight. Not a big fan of FGCU this year. They have the one post player who is a beast, but besides that not much. Feel like FGCU is still feeling the love from a couple years ago and lines are overinflated. Kennesaw played close both times. Taking the over 74.5 in Jacksonville Lipscomb 1h. Game just feels like it has the best chance to be a shootout in the asun tonight. Last game was 93-92. Taking NJIT for 50 +235. Should definitely make the final imo. Got blown out twice vs. UNF will take a chance different story this time. Btw, I think NJIT or UNF, has an excellent chance compared to others at least now and in the past of being the first 16 to pull it off. UNF is very good.

Rinkrat whats up with St.Mary's playing Grand Canyon tonight?
it beats the hell out of me. was NO line on the game for obvious reasons BUT the Gaels only won by 9 which would have probably been a big fat "DNC" IF their had been betting. REALLY do NOT like my Gaels chances in the WCC tourney IF the seeds hold and they meet Pepperdine the 2nd round

Its the 8 vs 1 battle in the 1st rd of the AE Tourney. UMBC comes in 7-24 and Stony Brook comes in 23-6. In the 2 meetings this year SB swept UMBC winning 75-52 Feb 11th and 86-74 Jan 13th
Stony Brook was my preseason pick to win the America East conference as they brought back 5 starters including Jameel Warney who could very well be the best player in Stony Brook history. On the year he averages 19 PPG 10 Rebs and 3 blocks. I feel SB is a team on a mission as they've lost to Albany the last 3 years including LY when Peter Hooley from Albany hit that 3 with 1.6 left. Stony Brook has never been to the NCAA tournament and most believe it'll be Albany-SB once more on March 12th and if SB can't beat Albany now then they never will
In my research of this game UMBC is a team that relies a lot on scoring off turnovers and I don't see SB turning it over much. UMBC allows 80.4 PPG which is 331st in the country. They're also 1 of the worst shooting defenses in the country. SB allows 62.6 PPG which is 12th in the country plus they shoot well from the field and stifle their opponents in the same categories
If the Seawolves were better from the line i'd bet more but I like them to win an 80-53 type of game

NJIT was rough last night...damn. At least i got to see the first upset of March Madness. Sucks those were the games I posted on here. I would've gotten all the other ones right lol. Liked Navy and the over, Holy Cross and the over, North Florida and Lipscomb.
Is it me or is America East all insanely high tonight. I can see Stony Brook covering the 22 vs. UMBC, but Hartford getting 19 and Maine getting 18 seem like a ton. I like NH to cover vs. Binghamton too. Love Mount in NEC...think theyre the better team and were predicted to be a top 2 NEC team this year.

Well guys tough loss yesterday with Southern Miss not getting the job done vs WKU
0-1 day -$880
1-1 in conference tourneys +$40
32-26 in regular season +$3,270
33-27 on the season +$3,310
As for today guys I have a max play. My play is:
Princeton -6 for $1,100
Big 5 days upcoming in the Ivy League and it starts tonight. Princeton comes to town 20-5 {10-1 in Ivy League} 7-8-1 ATS off a 74-60 win vs Cornell. Princeton has won their last 8 though losing their last 3 ATS. Harvard is 12-16 {4-8 in Ivy League} 7-14 ATS off a win over Brown. The 2 ATS covers for Harvard last week were their 1st covers in 2016
Princeton won the 1st meeting 83-62. They shot 52% from the field, made 12 3's and had 21 assists on 32 made shots. A guy a few weeks back on covers "What's wrong with Harvard? Well when you lose 3 starters to graduation and Siyani Chambers to a knee injury that's whats wrong with Harvard. Though at times they've played bad you never question the Crimson's effort. Tommy McCarthy the leading assist man for Harvard is uncertain to play as he is in the concussion protocol
Why is this a big final 5 days in the Ivy League? Well Princeton and Yale each have 1 loss and here is their remaining schedules:
Princeton: Today at Harvard. Tomorrow at Dartmouth{who forced Yale into a 1 gm playoff LY}. And Tuesday HM Penn
Yale: Today at Cornell. Tomorrow at Columbia
Princeton has an RPI of 34 and in my research I found that the Tigers are 60-22 under Coach Henderson after January 1st since he became the HC. As for this year they've made 10+3's in a game 15 times. Though I will say its not often Princeton faces a team as good from 3 as they are as they both shoot 38%
I was stunned by this line as I had Princeton favored by 8-8.5. If this game becomes a free throw contest Princeton shoots 70.3% from the foul line whereas Harvard shoots 58.7% which is the worst in college hoops{LY they shot 72.9%} Princeton has to win out to at minimum force a 1 game playoff. I like them to get the 1st win tonight by DD
