Cooper Flagg might not just be done

I mean what is arguably the biggest choke job in final 4 history this one is gonna linger for quite a bit and unless he redeems himself comes back to Duke for another season and dominates to win a national title his lone season at Duke will forever be remembered for that foul and final seconds where he missed a potential game winner.

so why not? He left high school a year early to play for Duke. He seems like a smart and humbled kid who wants to get better.  Also why rush to go to the nba? To play for a team like the jazz wizards or hornets? None of these teams have structure or the commitment to build a championship caliber team. The state of the nba is in a dismal situation where it’s losing ratings and the style of play needs some serious polishing. Cooper flag has the opportunity to play another season at Duke polish his game a little more and most importantly redeem himself. Also even better he can position himself to perhaps a better situation in the nba. 

besides what better way than to give it to the nba teams that are tanking and declaring for next years draft hahaha.

He's ready for the NBA now.

 Of course he's ready...no question about that. Does he want to go to the dismall NBA, to a team with no structure....no he does not. He wants redemption..its in his DNA

He returns to Duke next season, and his Father will make sure he does....mark it down

my thoughts exactly. He will still be that generational talent going into next years draft because there hasn’t been anyone like cooper Flagg since LeBron James.. he is that good. That being said he still that to polish up on his clutch plays and mental aspect of the game.

depends there has been a lot of moving pieces with draft picks in the past decade where some above .500 teams who have gotten better hold picks for this year and next year where they can swap. Last year the hawks with a little below .500 record were able to land the number 1 pick! 

They had an excellent season he is the number 1 pick he is going to the NBA and going to get paid some big money that will set him up for life.

No need to hang out in college he already proved himself nd why risk any injury

If he wasn't the overwhelming favorite to go #1 overall i could see him staying. But the NBA rookie wage scale is ridiculous now. I dunno how he can turn down a guaranteed $25M over 2 years. If he's a halfway decent player, he'll get all of it, which is $57M over 4. 

I dunno if he's religious or not, but Utah has a very godly community, and some of the best fans in the sport. If he ends up in Washington, then I dunno. He grew up in Maine, so I don't think he cares about a big market. 

No shot he stays... Why take a chance to get an injury that may jeopardize his career?

He makes 4.8 million this year in NIL, and its going up without doubt.

His rookie scale would be 12.6 Million.

Its estimated after fee, union dues, agents , lawyers, that NBA players in this range clear a bit over half.

He’s going to fit in just right in Utah

Nil really does change things now.  But we will see he's the #1 overall draft pick and will be set for life so he's probably gone.

Redemption vs the # 1 overall draft pick?  Yeah I have to disagree and also sounds foolish.  If he was a potential 11th pick and wanted to improve his stock then sure.  What he suffers a serious injury next season?  Or he stays and then gets bounced in the 1st round?  How do we know its not some other stud comes next season putting up better numbers or maybe some guy from over seas takes that #1 pick next season?  There are just to many what ifs instead of potential guarantees.  The NBA is the goal not winning an NCAAB title.  Use your brains guys

 I agree 100%.  Yeah he hated to lose but he’s not coming back. Anyone who thinks so is crazy. They were the best team this year and didn’t win it. No guarentee he wins it next year either.  Stupid to think he comes back.
