yeah any accomplishments his teams have just get stricken from the books within a few years of him leaving the program. and camby did a bit more than just talking to an agent. the guy is sleezy. that being said, i would be too if there were no real punishments for it.

Do you even actually know why the Final 4's were vacated?? The Camby thing was all about Camby. He accepted some money from an agent during the tournament. Do you really think Calipari knew anything what so ever about that?? Seriously, use your brain on that one.
The Final 4 at Memphis was vacated for 2 reasons. Rose apparently didn't take his own SAT. The problem is the NBA has a stupid rule that forces these kids to try to gain eligibility anyway they can. Calipari had nothing to do with any of that. There was also some $$ that was not paid back by Rose's brother for traveling with the team. You think Calipari has any knowledge about making sure those people are paying back? No, they have traveling secretaries that are supposed to take care of that. Apparently, it was an oversight. Bottom line is, Cal can recruit and he has never been a part of any investigation. Get to know your facts before blindly accusing.

That's funny. I just googled "Calipari and cheating" and it yielded only about 5-6 hits and they are all from blogs or forums like this. Not one damn piece of real news about him and cheating.

cal can recruit and cal can coach, no question about it.
yes kentucky fan, i know why his final fours were vacated. if you want to believe that he didn't know anything, and it's a coincidence that his 2 previous programs have vacated final fours, that's fine. i don't. my opinion is that he's a little sleezy. if you don't agree, that's fine with me muffin

It's funny that someone brought up bobby knight and recruiting violations when he just committed recruiting violations himself.
Why can't anyone ever argue about something else....... Everyone always goes back to bs about cheating.....,
Cal has not always had powerhouse teams..... His umass team had no shot against uk ...,.,
Memphis should have one but were not the favorite.....
2010 uk should have one I though they were by far the best team..... And 2011 team overachieved this time..... He has one coaching blunder with Memphis and everyone acts like he is terrible.....,,
And from a recruiting stand point he was nothing special until rose year at Memphis....... More 3 and 4 star players than 5 star prior to that year
People are just stupid and talk shit without actually knowin anything...... If he does not win this year he will catch well deserved criticism because this year uk is head and shoulders better than everyone else and that does not happen very often
