Not too much about to say about Tuesday. Made a bad play on Florida and lost. Had a bad read on the game made a bad pick and it missed. Nothing I can do about it now. Swung and missed, time to move on. Still a 19-10-3 run over the last 9 days. Not going to get too bent out of a shape over one losing play.

Why not? I'm not knocking your ML plays, i've just never heard of anyone who only plays basketball ML and never ATS
Had more success with ML, I may take the points sometimes like I did tonight +6.5 with the Kings. I need safe money - small consistent gains.... BTW - my earlier post was a cut and paste from my spreadsheet - I'm not playing all of those teams.

Literally just went through all 8 of those leans I posted last night and found reasons to not to play each and every one of them. Haha, not sure that's ever happened before. 8 leans turn into 0 plays. Still looking at some other games though and have one that i'll be adding here in a few minutes. Then possibly a few more.

Notre Dame +6 - Love a chance to take a red hot Notre Dame team here with 6 points in my pocket against a WVU team that I remain skeptical of. Coming off 3 straight losses, the mounties went into Providence on Sunday and frankly should've lost again. They were lucky to even force OT and escaped by the skin of their teeth. Before that 3 game losing streak was another 3 point OT win, that one at home vs Cincy. Simple fact is this team hasn't won a game in regulation since Jan 18th (5 game span) and isn't playing good basketball right now. On the other side Notre Dame is not only playing as good a basketball as they've played all season but playing as well as just about anyone in the country. I've got a lot of respect for Mike Brey as a coach and he's putting things together at the right time. This team is clicking, and from here out will be a team nobody wants to see or deal with. Here's a game where I'll take that hot team (that I believe is also the better team) with 6 points in my pocket. Irish for me.

Pittsburgh -2.5 - Normally not my style to lay points on the road in conference play but that's exactly what i'm going to do here. Pitt started Big East play 0-6 this season... then their PG and leader Tray Woodall came back. His first game back he was working off the rust and the lost. 0-7 Big East record at time. Since that game, they haven't lost. In other spots i've taken Pitt over the last few weeks I've gone on and on about Woodall's importance to the team and if you read my write up's or follow my thread you're well aware what I think of him. He's the reason this team is now rolling, he's the glue, the engine, etc etc. Can't drive home the point enough. Anyways, Pitt is now trying to make a run to a tournament bid and they know losing games to the likes of South Florida just can't happen. A loss like that might not cripple a tournament bid, but it sure as well would hurt it. It would surprise many of you to know South Florida has 6 Big East wins already, however you look deeper and you'll see those 6 wins are against, Villanova, Rutgers, Seton Hall, St. Johns, DePaul, and Providence. Now sure any Big East win is impressive but they haven't beaten any of the conference big boys, and with Woodall back that's exactly what Pitt is. South Florida has followed a simple script this season. Beat the teams you should beat, and lose to the teams you aren't as good as. Recipe should be the same tonight. Jones is a bit of a concern. He's a very good player and I can't take that away from him. He's not your typical big man though, he likes to play on the perimeter quite a bit (attempts nearly 4 three's per game)
Their only other big man whose a major contributor is Kilicli who doesn't concern me too much. He's solid player but not the type of player whose going to take a game over by himself. 10 point, 5 rebound type of guy. Bleh.
