I don't post often but I had a thought I wanted a second opinion on.
I believe Davidson -4.5 is a solid early morning play. With Missouri coming off a later overtime game, I can imagine heavy legs will play a factor in the outcome.
During their game vs Clemson, Davidson missed 16 CONSECUTIVE 13s...that is an accomplishment I don't see happening again. Their leading scorer from last year Jack Gibbs now has a solid game under his belt after missing their first game with an injured shoulder.
Missouri is coming off an overtime thriller vs Xavier (who I personally thought was overrated from the get-go) in which Phillips, Hughes and Puryear all scored 21, 24, and 22 respectively while the rest of the team combined for only 15 points. The thing about those 20+ points is that they came with 40+ minutes of playing time as well. I can't see those three having a repeat performance to keep up with a Davidson offense who will take advantage of a team with tired legs coming off a somewhat emotional loss.
Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought -4 was a solid number to start the day. Best of luck to all of you regardless!

Also Gibbs and 2 other starters were in foul trouble against clemson
Gibbs, Reigel and Magarity were all in trouble in the 1H, causing Reigel and Magarity to cash in less than 20 minutes in the game. Rested legs vs Weary legs

keep in mind that these guys are in their late teens/early 20's. Not much rest is needed especially at the beginning of the season. maybe if this was at the end of the season and they were playing on back to back days this would have more of an effect but these kids condition for this months in advance and it should not be too much of a factor here. if Davidson wins it is because they were the better team. Mizzou is a very young team playing loose and they are not expected to be very good this year so any success they have is just a bonus

For the same reason they may have lots of energy, they may also be more mentally rattled from the loss. And I also don't think the fitness is the question. They had a late game that was a tough battle, it is hard to sleep after that too. and then get up early enough to be ready for this game

Missouri is garbage couldn't hit water if they fell out of a boat . Davidson and the under was the play . Xavier was terrible yesterday made Missouri look better than they are . Davidson blows them out.
