Iowa State -7....they are usually playing vs much better defenses than Ionas and they have the better D than Iona. I expect a 11-17 pts win for Iowa State.

Kansas -25......5th best defense in the nation, and average opponent defense faced is the 4th best in the nation. Miles away from A.P whose defense is 272nd in the nation, and defenses they faced ytd are no 312. Blowout.

Texas Tech +4.5. They have been facing top 5 or top 10 defenses in the nation all year. Butler is not the same team we used to watch over the years, at least not defensivelly.

Virginia -23....See the Kansas writeup. Pretty much same reasoning here.

3-1 early....virginia and kansas blowouts, iowa state won by 13 (i said 11-17) and texas tech folded late but was in it for 4/5 of the game.

Seton Hall +2.5...top 15 defense and top 10 defense on teams faced ytd. no such defenses @ wcc.

Utah -8.5.....defensive edge on both sides, especially on opponents defenses.

Thanks for the post.. I agree with the defense stats. I don't sign in much. Any thoughts on usc, Kentucky? I'm leaning on both..

USC defense wins? No way that happens, that is everyone's bailout play for the night. Every joe six pack from here to China will be on Providence. Vegas needs to give away some freebies now and then.
Some easy money to the public. I'm putting my house on Providence, the below info tells me it can't lose.

and finally my play of the tournament: n.iowa +4.5

n.iowa defense outduelled the nations best defense from wichita twice this season, allowed 26 second half points to then no 1 team unc in upset win, and slowed down a very good iowa state offense in another upset win over a top 5 team this season.

Adding a rare fave, aTm -13.
Green Bay playing little to no defense, just like the rest of Horizon teams. aTm has a top notch defense. Not a fan of big spreads but I will bite.

Yale +6, Little Rock +6.5
Dont like betting on dogs after a first round upset win but I will make those two exception because of their defensive edges of the higher seeds.
