Does PSU have a chance

Question

well.. I&#x27;m a PSU fan.. so. yeah.anyways do they have a chance vs ND.  this game being at a neutral site shoulda changes the whole view.  I actually expected PSU to go down when they visited Florida (PSU is generally a horrid away team).  But they actually dominated.  ND has had a rough schedule and the Big10 actually has shown some resilliance in the real tourney.  soo.. is the value of the ML at say &#x2B;160 a decent value?   I see this as a difficult game to cap IMO.  my instinct said ND -4 though.

There might be a moose at the end, but I would take my chances if I were in your position and just get loaded ...&#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Give ML a chance too ... I did it with my Spartans the other day ... You just never know ... This PSU squad is tough ... For this to be a smoke n mirrors case, they are going to have to come out with no passion or intention of winning ... And you know what, I don&#x27;t see that happening ... PSU here. I&#x27;m from Central Pa and know some PSU alum connected to the basketball program. PSU wants the NIT championship to help boost their Bball program. They are busing in loads and loads of fans to the Garden, so PSU will have a lot of support there. Yes, I&#x27;m a homer, but Penn State has been playing with focus lately. With Cornley back and getting healthier, they should have a good matchup with ND. I like the points here and even think PSU may win it SU.

I have to agree w/ this explanation actually making a factor.  Their basketball program is well.. nothing compared to their football program.  They played well their year and missed the real tourney and got stuck w/ the NIT again. The farther they get in the NIT allows them to finally start recruiting better and earn some respect.  Other teams take the NIT for granted but PSU wants this pretty bad

they play at the garden, notre dame and most shooting teams have a hard time knocking down jumpers like they do at home and other places. &#xD;&#xA; &#xD;&#xA;Notre dame have been nothing special away from home. Coin toss imo just like someone above said.

if you like PSU i&#x27;d play the ML rather than the spread. I think PSU either wins this SU or they fail to cover....take that with a grain of salt, though, as i&#x27;m on the Irish

The point guard for Notre Dame is from the New York area, McAlarney sp?? He wants to put a show in front of his family and friends, so I wouldn't doubt the Irish too fast......Plus, it is more of a home field advantage for ND cause they play a few games at MSG every year against St John's and the Big East tournament. With that being said, I think this is a toss-up, like all games when you bet against the spread. That's why good cappers only get 60% correct while weak cappers like me and you, only get about 50% or less correct.
