I love duke -5 tomor in Chicago. Duke looked impressive in home opener, hitting 13 3's, 4 players scoring 20+ points and are waaay more experienced and deeper than ku. I expect Parker to play lights out in his hometown, he is very legit. Hood is a stud and should become first team acc player. Sulamon is back and should be even better this year after being runner up acc freshman of year. Those 3 will all be in NBA next year. Add in steady pg Cook, athletic big man Jefferson, big body hairston and 3 point specialist dawkins is back. ..this team is loaded with perimeter weapons. Coach K is coaching them similar to his Olympic teams...fast offense and sound defense with true athletes.
KU on other hand returns 0 starters from a team that was only 7 deep ly. Tharpe never saw a shot he didn't like, he's not a true pg imo. Wiggins is good but not spectacular yet like parker and julius randle have been. His #'s in game 1 were average for the expectations. The other stud freshman seldon had horrible shooting night and only scored 9. Ellis is a decent player but would be a bench player on the elite teams. They only won by 17 at home against ul monroe. Only made 7 3's and 35% shooting. No experience really at all on this team, they will be better at end of season than right now.

I live in Chicago and know all about Parker, he is going to be the #1 pick in the draft and is legit as they get. He has an NBA ready game and isn't just hyped because of ability and athleticism like other top players. Expect him to go off in his hometown tomorrow and he has a great supporting cast around him. Kansas is really good too but I see a 8+ point Duke win and a cover in this game. Book it!

I agree, Kansas last year was so successful because of their experience and defense...both of which are gone. ..this year ku team not on same level as duke.

Also kentucky ml tomor. When will you get kentucky + money on the ml again this season? Prolly never. I think kentucky is too deep, big, athletic, and frankly too young to care that this is big game. Msu missed out on all their recruits so basically exact same team is back. Don't get me wrong msu can win it all but everyone knows izzo teams always start slow and come on late. Also historically these early season monster games dont go well for msu. They are 1-5 su l3 years playing early season monster matchup. Losing to uconn twice, duke, unc, and miami while barely beating ku ly. Another thing msu has no depth if kentucky gets Payne or costello in foul trouble msu in big trouble. Kentucky has gone to ft line over 40 times first 2 games while msu only went to ft line 5 times in opener at home against mcneese st. Msu is going to live and die by the 3 ball tomor which is never a great strategy. Meanwhile kentucky is gonna pound the ball inside. Also kentucky pg Harrison has 7 inches on appling. Almost every kentucky starter is bigger than msu player.
Like I said wrong team is favored and kentucky plus points is gift.

locked in kentucky +145...too good of ml # to pass up.
Also adding Tenn ML +110...Tenn returns a stacked team this year and add Memphis PG Antonio Barton to replace trae golden. Tenn is gonna be a beast downlow with Maymon back and Stokes. They have a borderline 5 star freshman wing player that can flat out ball in Hubbs. McRae is one of SEC best shooters. Their bench has good depth also. Xavier team just really isnt that impressive and i'm suprised they are favored even at home. The transfer center, Stainbrook is good player but he wont be any match with what Tenn has down low. Xavier backcourt returns, only pg Christon really is a playmaker of the two.
I think Tenn is better team and could finish 3rd in SEC behind kentucky and florida, its a good spot at plus money against an average Xavier team picked to finish anywhere between 6th-8th in new big east

thx KHNRY---i really like the duke play today, wiggins/parker cancel each other out but the rest of duke is superior to kansas all over the court. should be good game though

another note for kentucky ml +145...with the way cbb is being called it favors the physical team, kentucky loves to go inside and will have MSU in foul trouble, MSU has no quality depth up front. If you eliminate Payne from the mix then this could become a blowout for Kentucky
just my opinion, but my plays are Duke -4.5, duke ml/kentucky ml, and duke ml/tenn ml
gl everyone!

Hey man, not here to bash you on your pick because everyone was on Duke. I'm just hoping you noticed that it was mostly Jayhawk fans. Jayhawks travel and Chicago isn't that far from KC. It was almost like a home game.

Duke is very good. But Amile Jefferson is masquerading as their center. And that's gonna be a huge problem against these other top 5 teams like UK, KU, MSU, LVille.

everything he said in his write up was a little piece of info that vegas knows inside out. don't try over analyze anything. wouldn't do you any good. we don't have enough info that vegas has access too. they give us a line and make us think who is the better team. 2h plays are smarter play, you see the flow of the game, the possible outcomes. GL.
