I would play Wisconsin for 3000.You win 2500 in Duke wins, 2000  if Wisconsin wins.(if you get it at even)

Minus the 1 grand he put on the original bet, so the most he can win overall is $1500.  Not that much for a season long wager.  I would just put a grand on Wisconsin so no matter what happens you don&#x27;t lose any money, you&#x27;ll get your 1K back.  If Duke wins, you get $3000 profit, if Wisconsin wins you break even.  Not a bad situation

I think Duke will win but only an idiot wouldnt take the sure profit.  It&#x27;s not like they&#x27;re playing some scrub team.  They COULD lose.  If it were me I would put 2K on Wisc to guarantee a 2K profit but still give me enough rooting interest to pull for Duke to win 3K.  Look at it this way, I dont know what kind of bankroll you have.  Do you really, really need the cash?  If you do, you hedge.  No brainer.  If you dont need it badly, just let it roll.
