Duquesne(on the rise) can play with these guys especially after Pitt losing everyone.  They are 10 minutes away from each other and know each other very well.  They know and will beat Pitt tonight.  Mellon Areana which is a nuetral site.

I actuallylive in pittsburgh now.I am also not a fan of Pitt sports teams.That being said. I do not see anyway Duquense wins outright or even covers. Duquesne is a great school, more for academics. The players on their team are the ones that were not good enough to get on the Pitt Squad. Sorry to say that..Or they are just smart enought to realizw life after college ball.Look at the games between these guys. Other than that one loss Many squads back.Duquesne Got as close as 5 to winning. I may be way off here Because there seems to be Tons of Duq love here, however having to reside here for awhile now.I just can not see that happening.Even with A Panther squad that is suspect  Bol though either wayI  will be taking Pitt here as my biggest play of day. Along with SC . Just my opinion though my man

Yeah i can def see second half play on this I am just tryin to make up a little ground.hahaha. and this seems like a decent spot to try. And i mean that I am not a homer when i say i am not a fan of pitt sports teams The general consensus in pitt is their teams are better than any teams anywhere With the exception of the pirates...Even they know they are horrible

i'd like to see duquesne FINALLY beat pitt as much as the next guy.
but they simply are not a very deep team.
won't stop me from sticking them in a 5-point teaser with northern iowa and florida state however.

sorry. Pitt is one of the best out of conference team. even with losing their starters still a good team with good defense. Pitt wins but maybe does, maybe doesnt cover. Duq ml is worth a shot tho

This is as far from the truth as anything on here. Duquesne and Pitt are only steps away from each other, but because they are in the same area doesn't mean they have recruiting battles. There is absolutely no basketball talent here in Western PA, and these school rarely recruit the same players. Yeah, Pitt recruits the better players, but that gap is closing. Damian Saunders, Duquesne's best player, and a legit pro prospect, was heading to Marquette before things got screwed up and ended up at Duquesne. Their other top player who is out, Melquan Bolding, was heading to Louisiville, as I recall before things fell through and he ended up at Duquesne. Bill Clark, a solid wingman for the Dukes comes played at Oak Hill for a year, the top prep school in the nation.

Did you just say that duquesne was closing the recruiting gap on Pitt???? hahahahahaha. Pitt lost four of its starters, dont get things twisted. They are also missing their 2 best players. Pitt will be a top 15 team next year. U sound stupid

well just checked score duquesne is killin em at half great call man. alot of time left but love ur chances > Guess i will have to eat some of those pirmanti sandwhiches to understand this crazy place a litte better

yeah... well Pitt is still a big East team and will make a run.. I had Duq winning this game by 6 and I still think that will happen
