My guess is he had to be wasted, and we all make dumb choices when we are wasted.

This is a non story.... college kid doing stupid shit while he is drunk at 2 am.... been there done that......

A couple guys in this thread got it right - "its a college campus and its 2 am - tacos are gonna get stolen".... And it was probably not even the real cops, it was probably the campus police who students dont take seriously and love to make a mockery of.....

...we use to bait the campus cops into chasing us around for the hell of it....

As much money as ncaa makes odd these guys. 800.00 a month goes fast after you pay your rent and bills. But I guess you have a silver spoon in your mouth and wish you could play ball

Holy fuck your dumb, don't you think that d1 athletes from a powerhouse bball program would give them a free boarding also? Yea great logic man, give student athletes who are already getting a free education, free meal plan and free boarding more money while normal college kids can barely pay their bills.

Check out the NCAA page on D1 Athletic scholarships. Basketball counts as a headcount sport and " , there number of scholarships that cover everything from tuition to room and boarding fees".

This story has nothing to do with scholarships or amateur athletes getring paid or race or state of law enforcement in florida/america. it is a story of a college kid, acting like a college kid, doing a (most likely ) drunk stupid thing at 1 am. the kid just happened to be a big campus celebrity and a minor national celebrity
