Not impressed at all! Very limited offensive moves, as his team was going scoreless for 5 minutes he was a spectator. Stay in school son or men will flat out eat your lunch

Respectfully disagree. 7 foot and moves like a gazelle at 19 years old. Hes been dominating the best players on the AAU circuit for a decade. The skill set can be taught. Look at Pascal Siakim. Kid had nothing but a frame when he entered the league.

Really you guys talk like he’s as good as Ingram or even Zion was.. Hey mr fucking idiot comment, did you ever see Durant in college?
they were way more developed.. Oregon had nobody his size, he should have scored all night.
Let’s see how he fares vs a taller Michigan

OK, right, he plays Gonzaga next!! Exactly, and what's Gonzaga's weakness? Low post defense so HERE WE GO..
Your chance to put a brick in my mouth and believe me, I'll be here in 48 hours to eat whatever you want to throw at me!
Btw, you rave about this dude, Durant averaged 25pts and 11 rebounds his only year in college, your boy did 16 and 8..gee,
@tsizzle79 very impressive...no you're a freaking idiot

Durant is one of the Top 10-20 players to play the game. Ever. If he's your measuring stick for college freshman, you're gonna think everyone sucks lol.

Boys - several here make good points but I will echo he is for sure going top 3 and is raw at 19-20 years old. To compare him to KD is unfair, even at the next level he will never ever have the ball in his hands bringing the ball up the court and creating his own shot off the dribble as you see with KD.
Either way let's see how the game plays out tomorrow night - we will have a much better idea after if either Mobley can really bang with the big boys and keep it competitive for the full game. If USC does win both Mobley brothers stocks go through the roof.

@Hoyasaxa
Disagree. You don’t understand how hard it is to be that big and move that smoothly. Don’t get upset at the players when you lose the bet lol. Does not get you anywhere. Just move on dude.

I would go as far as to say I think #2 is a bit of a stretch as I was a little concerned. I understand the interest, size and athleticism but the only problem when he reaches the NBA is all of the guys are big and athletic. I was on USC big last night but when USC was on their 5 minute scoring dub he was quiet...hmmmm - guess we'll see.

Exactly what bothered me and started this thread..and if you don't respect the poster OWO, you're freaking idiots...very solid capper in CFB too
In that spot, his team NEEDED him to take over and he was just passive as hell..Now he might be the a great prospect THIS year because this year's class sucks....Ok, you're right, not fair to compare him to KD. How about Deandre Ayton-he did 20/11..How about Brandon Ingram, he did 17/7, How about Zion, how many more do you want? They all took over games..
Yes of course he should come out in this weak crop. But I was saying he's not imposing enough IMO to warrant other's fawning I've been hearing
Now tonight-he's got his perfect opportunity to show up..weak Rim defense and guards that will most likely take away this miracle run by the USC guards who never shot this good all year...plus, he'll see some real NBA type movement from Gonzaga and he'll need to make lots of plays..I'll admit when I'm wrong.

75% of all NBA players are mediocre at best...but every team needs a bench.
You are trying to make your argument by comparing this guy to all stars in the league, which is laughable.
In todays version of the league, he will be collecting paychecks in the millions while you will be proven wrong.
This years top end talent for the draft out of college hoops is very weak...not a single player in my opinion will move the needle

He will go top 5 because he's a 7 footer with agility, but he wont be a star or even a difference maker down the road. Probably be out of the league by 2023 all together. He's basically a weaker, lighter, less athletic Marvin Bagley. And look where Marvin is these days.
for some reason teams are still wasting their #1 pick on 7 footers hoping for lighting in the bottle. Here are some top draft 7 footers recently that no one knows their name anymore:
marvin bagley
willie cauley stein
deandre ayton
Mo bamba
Evan Mobley
Gonzaga is going to bend USC over.

The future of the NBA draft will eventually evolve into finding the top euro and international talents when they are 18, let them play a few years in the G league and break them into the pros when they are 20-21.
The truth is American kids are spoiled and are entitled, whereas the international player will always have more grit and hunger to succeed...the past few seasons have exposed the NCAA as a very watered down form of the game and the lack of top end talent is glaringly obvious.

imagine taking evan mobley over:
corey kispert
jalen suggs
daveion mitchell
moses moody
ziare williams
All 4 of these kids are going to be auto game changers who can facilitate the ball and score at will. Why take a skinny 7 footer who needs to be "taught" how to play still when you can take a pure scorer who's game ready and proven.
