You are absolutely delusional. He is brilliant, and the team was fantastic in the last few weeks against the best teams in the best conference. They are not superhuman and immune to having a poor performance. Its unreal that people are shocked at this even though Vegas told you it would likely be close.

The zone concept has been great for them. Teams have struggled immensely but SH shot the ball incredibly well from the arc and played with emotion and energy on their home floor. How is that rigged you moron ? Not to mention SJ forced double digit turnovers in the 1st half.. but im sure that was because they didnt play any defense right ? SH didnt not have anything figured out right away.. they had FIVE turnovers in the first 2 minutes. You didnt even watch the game it appears

I had John's in a 3-team tease w/ Miami -1 and UCLA +11.5 and both the teams still playing are looking great right now.  FML!

for those of you that bet st.john's & thought it was fixed, is there any scenario where st.john's lost & you wouldn't have be bitching about a fix? everyone & their mother was on st. john's because the line was only -2 when it first opened. i saw threads last night when the line came out saying "lock"! & "only -2 are you kidding"! then almost 80% of the public is on st.john's & your actually suprised they lost? if you really believe games are fixed then why do you bet?

you dont fix a game by having a 28% 3-point shooting team try and bomb 12 3's in the game

this was not a fix, the play when the ref changed the call from a foul to a jumpball totally deflated St Johns and they imploded.

@Zander, when it gets so bad that the untrained eye of a fan can see where the wide open 3 is gonna come from 2 passes ahead of time, it kinda makes you scratch your head as to why Lavin wouldn't change defenses.  And for a team that plays so much zone, it's pretty ridiculous how many times one of their players seemed to "forget" to cover the ball reversal that lead to all the wide open bombs.

exactly how much money do you think they would have to pay lavin & the players to fix a game that could have gotten them a double bye in the big east tourney? i'm not saying games have never been fixed, but i would think the majority of games that are fixed are not on national tv with 20 cameras picking up every pass, dribble & foul. if you were someone or an entity that had enough cash to fix a major college game i'd assume they would be smart enough to fix an untelevised or regional game!

@dg84, How come the line didn't move then if 80+ percent of the public was riding the Red Storm?  I took them in a tease to -1/2 at like 10 this morning because i was so sure the public would raise that line, but instead it somehow shrinks??  and on BetUS you can't cancel once you finalize ur pick...

just too many things add up for you to say this definitely wasn't a fix...

i have to disagree money is power and gambling is BIG BUSINESS!!! regional and low profile games wont have the publics money on it  they arent paying teams be serious !!!! think about how that technical and bad calls can and DO SWING  GAMES !!!!! REFEREES ARE NOT IN HUMAN AND ARE TARGETS FOR PAY OFFS TO MAKE A FEW SHADY CALLS  ITS THERE DISCRETION WHO S GONNA SAY OTHER WISE  COACH LAVIN   WOOOOOPS DOUBLE TECHNICAL major swing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whoops, 24 fouls on Seton Hall, 22 on St. Johns.

St Johns was down what 7,8 or 9 points when Lavin got his technical with 1:50 or so to go.

I think he didn't mind getting kicked out because he knew it was over.  Seton Hall was simply on FIRE from 3.

the line did move. it was at 3.5 earlier today at many places & went back to 2.5 when i last looked at about 6pm. like i said, there are a relatively few games that probably get fixed & i can't argue about donaghy, but this game wasn't fixed. seton hall just played great & st.johns had a natural letdown after all those big wins & senior night on deck.

i'm finally able to laugh it off now, since Miami would've ruined the 2nd leg of my tease anyways, but i still don't get how the line was John's -4.5 this morning, EVERYBODY either took St John's or stayed away, and somehow the spread shrunk.

I agree 100% this was the big fix, St. Johns coach could'nt even act good, I to was on them and no big bitching just have to understand that shit happens never seen so much crap and its my fault for going with them, i gotta watch crazy lines like that but its hard to layoff, lets move on thats all we can do good luck bud.The PIG.............

lmao.  this is becoming the norm after every game that has 80% of the public on one side.  If it's too good to be true, there's a very great chance it is.
