I've been doing this for many years fear............burned through 25K more than once I assure you.
I bet 1 to 5 thousand per game. once in a blue moon I'll bet 10 thousand.
I just don't feel the need to advertise it like you. You love the attention. It's almost like you are trying to prove something here on covers?? This will only get you in trouble.
Your optimism is that you are going to have a big day everyday.......nice to think that way bro but the only way to insure against massive loss is money mgt.

lastly.......there is no law that says you have to have a play EVERY day !! unless youre a tout and prostituting yourself.....if clients are paying you for picks you are forced to release them everyday to satisfy the action junkies.
you will NEVER survive in this biz if you don't learn when to lay back and take a few days off.

it's feast or famine........very very hard to have long term sustainability with this approach.......trust me.
A couple of winning seasons in a few sports means f u c k all..
add things up over a 5 or 7 year period then show us where youre at .......your approach is WAY too risky
not sure how you can advise him on his approach without knowing his bankroll or financial situation....if he has $150,000 accessible to use strictly for gambling then there is nothing wrong with his "approach"....3% risked on large plays is absolutely fine and conservative...but without actually knowing this information how the heck can you offer such an appraisal??......sure,if he said he only got $20,000 in total to see him thru the season then yes its fair to say he risks too much each play

you cry like a little girl to covers help when anyone comes in your waste of a thread with your -400 ML plays and you have the balls to come into his thread where he bets on spreads and bash him to make yourself look good (which you are NOT) you're a piece of chit,,

And just to be clear Fear,,,,,,,,,I think you are a VERY GOOD capper. you are a value to the community here on cover because you contribute. The members who come in threads and beek off(meanwhile, have never posted a pick in their life) are useless. I have zero respect for non contributors on this site.
you offer picks and insight which is great !!

A couple important plays for me to very honest. Bol. Congrats to the faders.
Tilt
Gambling term (most common in poker) descibing an angry or "reeling" state of mind usually caused by a big or unluck loss. People playing on tilt play below their usual abillity and usually make larger and more aggressive bets to try to quickly recover their loss. In poker, this is very valueble to other players at the table, hence worth keeping track of and/or attempting to cause. People known to be prone to tilting are often taunted or generally aggrivated when they take a loss and then egged on when they do tilt in order to keep them in this state as long as possible.

Now we don't want to see any made up crap tomorrow about you killing it on the craps table and you got most of it back.
You already should have started the day off lower than 3200 because you said you were flying to Vegas to add a couple more grand on Xavier last night. Then you said today you won a lot back on craps so your total started off higher today.
You were up $25,000.00 a week ago. You are on tilt big time and bragging about betting dimes and saying that you are basically the only guy on Covers who bets that much.
So we will see tomorrow how much you say you are up.

I'm not kicking him while he is down. People call me out constantly in my threads. I am simply telling him he is on tilt and leading sheep to the poor house.
I normally keep my mouth shut but nobody else does so why should I?
