the refs are not calling anything or there would be no players left for either team. Butler would have 3 players left and I bet on Butler

My background : division one mens basketball ref for three conferences

I am sick you crying babies on this website about the refs .. the refs were picked for this game because they are top 20 refs in the world .. no one is perfect, reffing is judgmental, there will always be a few small errors, which we try to avoid, but they happen. more importantly, we NEVER try to screw a game up by getting a rule wrong or something administrative.

stop crying about the refs, if you bet duke and lost, the refs didnt blow it for you, you bet on an inflated line

suck it up

Why would a college basketball ref, presumably, be posting on a gambling forum about a college basketball game?

Butler was allowed to hand-check the whole Final Four...its the biggest reason why they created turnovers.  In last nights game they had the free pass to go over the back all night long.

NCAA would have liked Butler to win...but they did almost win which is a victory for the NCAA.

Basketball is a great game...but its one of the easiest to influence outcomes...and as long as its easy to do that..we will see shady stuff continue to happen...Greed is a power thing

I thought the refs did a pretty good job in the championship game, with one huge exception... that WAS HANDS DOWN one of the worst charge calls I've ever seen.  That happens when Coach K's minions are taught to flop everytime someone drives the lane.  That was a huge call, bc it wiped 2 points off the board for Butler that obviosuly would have made them up by one at the end.  Also, Zoubek threw Howard down at the end, but in that situation I don't really expect the refs to always make that call.  Funny how Duke always benefits from these...

They shouldn't have even been there after the blatant corruptness exhibited in the Baylor game.

pretty evenly called.. i know that 1 charge call was bad but they called a block on Zoubek that was a charge.. it all evens out the refs did not lose anyone the game in this situation

 couldn't possibly agree more.....i'm still pissed they took away a chance at glory for baylor to help get a powerhouse in the final 4 for ratings sake
