maybe they will pull off the uconn trip of last year, but i dont see it
they beat unc , but john henson was out..
they beat a sub-par duke team.. i say sub par because although duke is a very good team, they are nothing like the past few years.. they have only 3-4 big wins this season and many disappointing games
acc is far overrated and its hard to see a team in it win the big dance this year

No one is topping Villanova's 1985 title run as far as lowest seed winning it all. They weren't ranked in the AP when the tourney started and barely made it in. They were an 8 seed.
That run is really impressive when you consider who they beat along the way. 1st round against Dayton, in Dayton. Next up they beat top seeded Michigan and two games later beat the 2 seed UNC.
In the Final Four they beat another 2 seed in Memphis State and then beat defending champ Georgetown......as a 10 point dog(Could you imagine hitting that ML especially with the public perception G'Town had at the time?).
I think that is what makes their championship run so special. Not just winning it as an 8 seed, but they didn't dodge anyone along the way to the title. They almost played every top seed they could have faced along the way.
1985 Villanova Men's Basketball team.

Theyve been playing real well of late, but the NCAA's are a different story. Outside of unc and duke, all others are a joke and lose early rd games every year. I know you think you know how strong the acc is bc you watch it all the time (I do) and you see them beat duke and unc (I have), the tourney has a way of throwing all that out the window. The acc is weak when it comes to the tourney. Be wary man.
Nc st, UVA, fsu? I would bet against all of the making the sweet 16. They will make games look very competitive, and lose by 3-4. Don't drink the kool-aid.
GL to all. Not trying to rain on your parade fellas. I've been burned too many times. And, purdue? Don't believe the hype.

Harvard is better than Florida State. If we're going to give the Seminoles some love, let's throw it over to the Ivy League beasts who destroyed Florida State at their own game.
