Good luck gents
So. You post in the NFL forum how wrong it is for people to not post w/l records or units and here you are doing exactly that.
Pretty pathetic I'd say. Wouldn't you?

No, I wouldn't, and here's why.
I'll try and clear up the misunderstandings.
First, I do not advocate "how it is wrong it is for people to not post w/l records or units"
That is false. In fact, I stated that nobody is under any such obligation! Don't if you don't want to!
I am agreeing with dubz and Raiders22, that for onlookers to make a reasonable assessment of a guy's ability to pick more winners than losers it is vital to have listed both w/l record plus net units. That's it! Simple logic. If a guy doesn't want to, that's perfectly fine! But onlookers would be denied a reasonable assessment without those two tools in tandem.
I posted for many years on another forum. CBB is my fav sport. I am not fantastic at it, but it is my main focus as I used to play in junior college. I choose not to bet on or post picks during non-con season because it has always been a crap shoot for me and most others. I like to wait until about 3 weeks into conference schedules in January where the games are not only more meaningful but I have common opponents to compare. This is much more comfortable for me. Maybe not you, but it is for me. **So I started my first ever thread on the CBB forum and posted my first picks, in my own thread, on this site, today! These games haven't even started. That's why I haven't listed a w/l with units yet!!
Whether I win or lose, I wish YOU good fortunes with your bets.

We'll get'em next time! Hope you made a profit, and if not then tomorrow is another day
Think I'll take a weekend break from CBB
