After a tit for tat night last night, my goal is to be even after tonights action!
Eastern Michigan vs Rhode Island
Rhode Island sits at 11-1 and is currently ranked #25 in the country. In their last outing they pounded Hofstra 88-69. Eastern Michigan sits at 4-5 and is coming off of a 3 point loss to Temple in which they shot a low 41% from the field.
Rhode Island is an offensive team as they are averaging 82 PPG. They are led by Will Daniels who is putting up 18 PPG and 7 RPG. Jimmy Baron is their long ball shooter as he is at 45% from behind the arc and averaging 15 PPG. Point guard Parfait has shown his ability to create as he has 69 assist through the first 12 games.
Eastern Michigan struggles offensively and are averaging only 65 PPG and is shooting just 42% from the field. While they do have three players averaging diouble digits, they struggle when it comes to consistency. They are led by Carlos Medlock and Jesse Bunkley at 14 PPG followed by Justin Dobbins at 11 PPG.
I look for a quality win here tonight as the Rhode Island Rams have just way to much offensive power for the Eastern Michigan Eagles to handle. Just on averages this is a 15 point win for the Rams, but I think it will actually be Rhode Island dominating from start to finish.
