Kansas/Clemson: is Kansas that good? Is it that easy to just win a conference title without a huge piece playing and then reinsert him tonite with no problems? 14 titles in a row huh? What I’m seeing here with the public and this site is that name recognition rules with Kansas. Well....Clemson is no joke. They are playing very good ball, Kansas isn’t yet so many on the Jayhawks. Take your 14th title Self, enjoy it but tonite you bay get bounced by a very very underrated team. CLEMSON +5.
Texas Tech/Purdue: is the kind a trap? How can you have Purdue favored here without haas? They essentially squeak by last round yet again, people are loving Purdue. Question: who has scored the most points in the paint this tournament? Answer: Texas Tech. Question: with lack of depth inside now, can Purdue stop tech from continuing to own the paint? We’ll see. Texas Tech before all the injuries was a top 5 team but I think people forget about that. Purdue has a lot of seniors and that plays a big role in the tournament but if their shots aren’t falling, they get beat tonite. I truly feel the wrong team is favored here. TEXAS TECH +1.5
WV/Nova: I cant wait for this game. At last glance, almost 90% of the public is in Nova to win here. Peruse through this site and tell me how many Nova ML bets are in people’s parlays. Did anybody read the ESPN article about how Nova will have NO PROBLEM against the physicality and press of WV? I read it. I also read that Arizona, MSU, Cincy and Virgina were all suppose to be here too. If people want to look at Nova and crown them, that’s fine, they are on paper a great team but the minute the shots don’t fall and they are smacked in the face, what will happen? Experience and guard pay is huge in this tournament BUT having a chip on your shoulder and knowing you can hang with anyone, that’s powerful too. I think this is a close one but I will take the points here. WEST VIRGINIA + 5.5.
Duke/Syracuse: I hate Duke. I’m a die hard UNC fan but in my eyes, they are the best team left in this tournament. If you think Duke didn’t watch what Syracuse did to MSU, you are nuts. Coach K has been on in their a$$es for days. 11 points is a lot yet what I keep reading EVERYWHERE is that with Syracuse you always take the points. Listen, I think it’s a great story Syracuse is still in the tournament but they are not good. Their offense is ranked 315 out of 370 or something and if you can’t score against Duke, you are in trouble. Bagley, Carter and the “tripper” will be ready tonite and I expect them to blow Syracuse out. DUKE -11.

Whether people want to accept it or not, with the public heavily betting these games, perception plays a huge role here. I wouldn’t be surprised if nova, Duke and Kansas all win but in my eyes, no team is a definite and from the data I see, people are totally denouncing tje reality of this tournament.

Pay attention to the media but more importantly know how to decider through the messages they are trying to instill in the public’s minds. Case and point: leading up to the Kentucky game, all we heard was that Kentucky had the “easiest” path to the final four with zina and Cincy our. Coincidence that the public was all over them last nite even live betting them with them within reach to win? In my eyes, no. Look at the big teams who lost. All we heard about was ayton and how great Virginia was because they were tops in the toughest conference. Tonite games are the same: there was a huge article on WV and they won’t give Nova any problems? Really? Also, public perception says if Kansas can get through teams with Graham being subpar and azubuke not even playing big minutes, they have no choice but to dominate when the stakes are higher? Hmmmm. Clemson is no joke though. I can’t wait for tonite ganes because I think we see some great ones.

i made the poor mistake of going against our home team unfortunately, and went big yesterday. it was bittersweet. they made me a believer and i'm pretty excited to see them play tomorrow. i was down in the river north area last weekend for the festivities. holy smokes!! these guys got a fire inside of them that i think can take down k state. great to hear from you as well!

Nova has 3 great ball handlers........That press will not work tonight..........Nova can light it up from outside as well as anybody and WV ranks around 315th in the country in perimeter defense........WV is used to pushing guys around in the paint winning the inside battles......But Nova are just as big and physical with Spellman and Paschall........WV counts on winning the turnover battle but Nova does not turn it over in fact WV turns it over more...........Nova is the top scoring team in the nation and WV will not be able to run with them.............Nova is a better team than Zona, Kentucky and Gonzaga, some of the 4 seeds that went down.......Those teams were much more vulnerable to mid seeded teams...................
I do not like Nova because they are a public pick or because they are a #1 seed........I like them because I do not see WV stengths slowing them down.......And WV's one glaring weakness, perimeter defense can be easily exploited by a Nova team who shoots from 40% plus from 3.
