Friday's Card....Bracket Buster Time Baby

I absolutely love Bracket Busters....Between the fact that Vegas doesnt spend as much time on the smaller conferences and they certainly don't know when small vs. small play each other...Watch out tomorrow because it could be my largest card of winners this season.

Yale +12 -- Fits into my theory of taking the underdog in a low over/under total. 113 is borderline ridiculous so i'll take the 12.

William and Mary +4 -- The Tribe have proven themselves on the road time and time again. If they win this game, they punch their ticket to the tourney potentially.

Over 122 Tribe/Iona -- This will take some antacids to hit but I feel like people are just going off the fact that the tribe are slower. If WM is hitting their 3's, this over won't be enough. It'll be close and it'll be painful with scoring droughts but it'll go over.

A few comments/opinions.  You can check my saturday discussion thread if you want more elaboration, but I think bracketbuster weekend is actually the worst games to be betting on as there is little situational value in these games.  No revenge, every game is a big game for each team.  Teams are experimenting on different things since its not a conference game.  IMO, little value in these games, unless you think a team is overvalued/undervalued.  

Also, there is no way a win over IONA is gonna be enough to punch a ticket to the big dance for W&M.  They have the big wins but too many bad losses and not a good enough conference record.  They aren't even on the list of bubbles on most prognosticators sites.  Just my two cents.  GL bud like always.

If Bill and Mary wins, they potentially punch their ticket??? LOL, get the fuck out... 3rd in CAA and you think a win over Iona could poentially punch their ticket?  COME ON MAN... They are playing Iona, not Sienna...right conference, wrong team.

A loss damages them more then a win helps but it's just another win to add to the resume. Why shouldnt William and Mary be in more then some of these other scrub teams on the bubble. Umm, they won at Wake and Maryland and if im not mistaken, no one else has. They also beat one of the hottest teams in the country in Richmond.

They did what the committee wanted and arent getting any love.

A win would be a nice resume builder for W&M (and leave them with some work left to do), a loss tonight would pretty much eliminate any at-large potential

I think the line makers only watch W.Kent when they play Mid.Tenn.,a team they just cant score on,lol That over hit last night with 8 mins to go,plus its not like S.Ala.just walks the ball up either,plus the nice call on Portland giving 10 on the road I tailed you on,easy 21 point win,thanks.

Thanks. My lack of a large social life allows me to watch WKU on FSN with their radio/tv simulcast and they struggled with injuries earlier in the season and are completely healthy now.

I hope both of you consider joining a pre-tournament pool that I do to make Championship Week and the tournament more fun. A few others on this board have done it and they enjoyed it.

I'm always up for a good pool. Just let me know. And judging by their past few games, I don't think any team wants to see WKU in the Sun Belt Tournament. Good luck tonight.
